How come I only write in here when I’m in a slump? Ha, go figure.

Well, I guess I’m not really in a slump, more of a work enforced break from working out.  Work is so crazy right now that I’m working 12 hour days, the last 3 weeks I was working 10 hour days and was able to squeez in 3 days of cardio and 2-3 days of lifting, but with 12 hour days + training a client in her home on Tues and Thurs nights = no training for me.  Thank goodness it’s all ending this week! I’m SO excited to get back into the gym, infact, I think I’ll go first thing tomorrow morning, right before hitting up the beach :) What would I do without the beach?

I plan on getting back onto my 4 days of cardio, 2 days high rep/low weights, 2 days low rep/high weight regimin, it was really working for me.  Somehow I’ve managed to lose about 6lbs during all this OT at work… I think it’s cause I get off so late that I dont eat as much as I was before, averaging only around 1200 calories a day (I know, not good!)

I havent even seen my trainer in about a month and a half. Booo. Bad me! I’m paying mucho dinero for this and I haven’t even gone.  He did offer to have me start teaching a bootcamp he runs, so once this OT crap dies down, bootcamp here I come!

Ok… Can I please get back to the gym now?

Welcome to my BodyBlog… not sure If I’ll post much here considering I have a journal (yah, check it out!).  But maybe just some rants/great workouts/life altering events/random thoughts, you know, the BS in life- I’ll post that here.

For starters- I hate taking breaks from the gym… especially for injuries/life in general.  I hurt my back 2 Fridays ago… I thought I’d be ok to go back this past weekend when a bunch of crap came up and I suddenly have to MOVE.  Although its a good move (I lived in a bad area, moving to a MUCH nicer/safer one) - it didn’t help my back much, or leave time for training.  Although, lifting heavy objects is quite the workout, its just not the same.  Boo.

I better be back in the gym by Thursday… or else! =)
