Well I’m up against the wall and things are looking tough!   Personal Issues have pretty much dismantled my bid for a competition this weekend in Scranton.  I’m nowhere near ready and I’m bucking up to try for next weekend in NY.  I’m not sure how it’s going to go but thankfully I will have my partner in my corner and with any luck I can get my focus back.  I’ve measured out at 6.4% BF at 206lbs.  A little heavier then my last show and about 1% higher.  I just don’t feel as though I’ve gotten that extra I was looking for and I don’t feel that well about it like I did my first show.  It seems that all this has just been about too much and the stress is killing my every effort. 

The journey that I’m on has come to a fork and I’ve been given a chose as to which path to follow.  The one path will allow me to be what everyone wants me to be, terms are to be dictated to me and I get very little input, the other allows me to be me and have a significant input into my future.   Well, I picked the route that I thought suited me and allowed me to be who I am and not what everone wanted me to be.  Although it has some rough patches on it, and I expect to take more then my share of bumps & bruises along the way right now and even expect a few more hits over the next month or so (not too mention the next couple of years).  I’m fortunate to have my partner with me through all this, she has been a rock, a comfort, a friend and more to me.   As we start down this road together with new goals and a new focus for us I expect great things ahead!!  I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us as we plan out next year.  With some hard work, focus, determination, and a little bit of luck (self-made of course) this should be an incredible year.  I believe that I made the right chose for me in order to continue on my journey!
