Lately I have been in a slump. I have more than likely lacked the proper motivation for quite some time now, probably a few years. I have always had enough discipline and motivation to carry me through however, lately I seem to be lacking even that. I have not hit the weights with any type of consistency or passion for about 3.5 months and I have even slacked tremedously on my Grappling / MMA. I am an active person by nature and I do not feel like myself as of late. My diet has gotten terrible and I feel as if I am reaching that point where I need to put up or shut up. With being out of shape and unable to feel good in the weight room or unable to compete on the mats, due to my lack of conditioning, it is making it even harder to get back to my old ways. I have a physical job by nature and only enjoy physical hobbies, other than movies, so I need to light that fire again not only for my physique, but also for my sanity. By no means am I about to have a heart attack, I am still fit and would probably be considered to be more in shape than most. However everyone knows that "you" are your own worst critic and I am sure some of you can relate to the mindset and point of view that I am addressing. I welcome any serious advice, diets, workouts, and or tips. This is my first blog on the internet ever so bare with me if I am all over the place.
