I will be starting a little 2-week cut, to try and lose about 5 pounds and get to bulk up again.
I will start eating around 2500-2600 calories and see what it takes me. Starting today 04.13 at 178.4lb, ending 04.27 with 173lb I hope. Trying to keep macros at 40-50-10 or 40-40-20.

Hey, my third entry here.
Today’s post is about something that’s been bugging me since I was a little child. I always had a problem with posture, since I was a kid in school, so I developed a hyperlordosis over those years. That means my lower back, lumbar, curves inward while my upper back goes outward. Well for many years I’ve been bugged by a strong pain on my lower back, mainly when I laid myself down to sleep. Some days it was so bad that it prevented me from sleeping well, and some days prevented me sleeping at all.
Well, after 2, 2-1/2 months of training I don’t feel this sharp pain anymore, in fact, I don’t feel any pain at all when I go to sleep.
I give props to deadlifting, I feel like this was the main exercise that helped me erase that pain.
So I am already feeling the benefits of weightlifting, are you?

Wow… this was scary. I’m into my second week of doing squat and I’m liking it. I am now doing 5×5 with about 120lb.
So today was squat day and I was working out alone. So I put on the weights on the bar and started doing them. The first 2 series were good, no problems. I was sweating and feeling the pump.
Then came the time to do my 3rd series and I noticed the floor was kinda wet. Nothing to worry though… so I started the 3rd series.
But by the 4th rep guess what? I slipped on the wet floor, tried to keep myself balanced and fell forward, with the bar and the weight still above me… My left knee hit the ground hard and I felt the pressure from the bar on my shoulders.
Luckily I was able to drop the bar to one side and gather enough strength to clear the bar.
Buuuuut… I could not just stop working out, I had just begun for the day. So I did some deadlifts, barbell curls and shrugs since I don’t need a spotter for those.
I can now feel the pain in my left knee, back and neck. But I won’t give up on the squats, it was not its fault.
