Year end is hours away

This year was an interesting one.

To start I was able to keep running almost continuously for the length of the year :) this was the cause of my joy and happiness, long distance running is truly a test of endurance and mind control.

Second, I was able to present my belt exams, moving to a higher level of combat and endurance, in Shotokan, plans for 08 are already draw, two tournaments I will like to make an important presence there.  SEK and Yi Si Mun in San Ramon.

Third, lifting I was able to keep size (hard if you consider that I run almost four times a week, that is +30 km a week) that burns all the muscle you are able to grow besides the fact that I’m not thick or with good muscle size or growth.  In addition I was gain new friends at the gym to train with, this is key in lifting heavier and heavier.  I’m starting to enjoy more the pump!

Forth, surfing (body board) has fill me with a lot of joy too, again, you are playing there in the middle of the swell, must stress that you must be very careful, I have seen guys getting swallow by the ocean in Hermosa, not a nice scene, tried to help a couple of time and by the time you arrive there, is way too late.

Bottom line 07 has been a year of fun and leisure; yes lifting heavy has been key in all of this.

2008 is a bit more challenging, think!

Going back to school, I was asked by an old professor of mine to see if I can cover him in the first term of this year in his statistics class, of course I said yes, teaching is one of the most challenging activities you can have makes your mind get fit as well.  Second, work is getting tougher every year and for the first time in 11 years, as we are expanding through the South America region we must watch our expanding.
Well also will like to say, people take care.
