Done for this week!

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

Well there is no better way to end the week than having a small!

Done, starting at 9:17 in the morning, run for 02:06:11 hours, for a short distance of almost 18 km, my consumption was around 1757 kcal, @ 35% Fat.  The real eye opener (for not watching my alarm in my Polar HR Monitor) is my Max HR: 177 bpm, aprox 100%, Avg HR: 160 bpm, aprox 90% in Zone 01:30!

While in El Salvador things go right, finish my auditing, go to the room fill the audit tool, and to the gym, run for 30 minutes, and start doing some light lifting just maintenance,  not to loose much size.

Food, food is a problem in El Salvador, hotel Real Intercontinental had very good food, sorry bailed out of my traditional eat less than what will make me feel fill (don’t know if this is the correct way to say it) but I eat, I think I did not gain any additional weight, and if I did I have until Wednesday to work it out.  Since I will go out on vacations, planning to spend some money in Florida, get some new cloths, and a worthy replacement for my  dead Digital Camera (the old Minolta S404 just quit on me)

I have checked the hotel and does not seems to have a decent gym, but a standard swimming pool oh well it is suppose to be vacations, so time to relax

Going to San Salvador next week.

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

Next week I’m schedule to go to El Salvador to conduct an audit and give support to the regional auditor in his certification efforts for that center.  There are good things when you go out, you change your air, and though the work is going to be very intense you feel very good.  The bad part of it is that your plans and life gets disrupted in many ways.  One of them is that there is no Gym, well, the Hotel has one, but it is not your Gym.  I enjoy working out with free weights; the hotel has a very good gym open 24 hours, but there is no joy, there i no noise, and people moving around and when in need you can turn around and ask, hey are you able to help me with this?  Lots of fun.  I guess my gym is not the best gym in town, but I have stayed there because of the people around.

The other thing is that I’m not feeling well, I got a cold, and today and tomorrow I will be spending my hours here, of course I’m hook to the company’s VPN to upload my reports and work, so in a way, I’m not in Sick Leave but I’m almost done with my work, and have some spare time, I think that if they allow me to keep working from home, not only will finish faster, quicker, easier I will have more time to go to the gym.  Just a thought.
