Automercado tag team race

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

At work some peers are planning to participate in the Automercado’s 40 km tag team race, they are trying to see who can make it and so on.  Automercado is a well known supermarket chain in Costa Rica.  They asked around and someone recommended me for one of the 10 km stretches of road, starting at Automercado Plaza del Sol, ending near home in Automercado Santa Ana, this is going to be hard, as this segment has the hardest down hills of them all.  This are the segments:

Stage 1: Starting at Auto Mercado Plaza del Sol Curridabat, Fuente de la Hispanidad, Auto Mercado Los Yoses, La California, Auto Mercado Centro, Tournon, Calle Blancos, Los Colegios Moravia, ending at Auto Mercado Moravia.

Stage 2: Starting at Auto Mercado Moravia, Tibás, La Nación, Colima, La Uruca, Puente Juan Pablo II, Rio Torres Ending at Auto Mercado Plaza Mayor.

Stage 3: Starting at Auto Mercado Plaza Mayor, Boulevard Rohrmoser, Pavas, Puente de Los Anonos, San Rafael de Escazu, Auto Mercado Escazu, Escazu, Ending at Auto Mercado Multi Plaza.

Stage 4: Starting at Auto Mercado MultiPlaza Escazu, Alto de las Palomas, Santa Ana, Auto Mercado Santa Ana, ending at Forum2 frente Radial a San Antonio de Belén.

I don’t know if they understand the rules and how hard one of these races are, but for the sheer fun of a tag team run, they can count me in.
