Spare your critics; Cell Phone cameras are not for taking great pictures.

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Granted, most of the Cell Phone pictures are blurry, and don’t have much detail, and size is another issue, most of the pictures are rough, granular, and many other problems can be associated with these cameras.Right Arm Flexed
But today was Biceps, Triceps, Traps, and forearms day.
Boy I did enjoy the pump today, and let me state this clear, I don’t have big arms, but after today I was too tempted to take a couple of pictures with Evil Cell Phone Camera.
The only good thing is that these are easy to take no need to adjust the single element web Phone Cam Flexing the Biceps Yup, Goofy pictures :)

Today we have new weight program

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

New program, must start working on the weight, the objective is to gain some mass, not weight, this year I have set two objectives, one is to compete again in half marathons right after almost 20 years since I run my last half marathon (guys you should know how luck you are when you are 20, you can do things that else will required lots of planning and considerations) the other thing I want to do is to certify my green belt and make this year the golden year, I want to compete in as many kumites (Kata, kihon and kumite), as my time and working schedule allows me, of course looking for worthy kumite to seek getting better, next year, I will like to go back to national games representing the province where I work-out.
Parallel I have re-started running aiming at the Sol y Arena race, it is a short run of only 9.8 kilometers, but it is run at the beach, near two o’ clock in the afternoon, so the temperature and the moister level play tricks in your cooling system, there is where the challenge is, by WW5 I will start doing track training, I want to finish this year in 47 minutes, and if it is God will 45 minutes bursting mode.  Lets see how it goes this year.

Cross Training Kick-off

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

This week was the kick-off meeting of the company I work for, and today was my official 2007 training campaign.  I did enjoy today’s kick off pump did most limited upper body, and limited back, and soft shoulders.  Tomorrow will be only 8.1 kilometres, just to wake up.

Started with 15 minutes in the band moved to do abs warm up:
3 x 30 regular crunches,
3 x 30 leg raise,
3 x 40 side crunches, and set for the some bench press, and standing row plus shoulders
With 45 dumbbells:
Again the same recipe:
3 x 12 shoulder warm - up
3 x 12 inclined press with 45 dumbbells,
3 x 8 standing rows,

3 x 12 flat press with 45 dumbbells,
3 x 8 shrugs done with French bar with 60 kg
3 x 12 biceps with dumbbells @ 20

End the day, tomorrow, hit the road, and that will be the start for this year, I will start working incrementally from now to the next race by May only 10 km, objective is to lower my time to only 40 minutes.
Starting next week, will make numbers on my current stats, and set nutritional objectives.

First day of the year

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

First day of Karate training, Wednesday means Kata day!
After stopping all physical activities for almost three weeks today was a very hard day, got dizzy a couple of times, and my feet are burning.  My bet is that by tomorrow I will walk like a duck, but:
I feel good!

Today I start a nine month preparation for my comeback to half marathons, this is going to be hard, as I will be working to keep some decent size, the objective is to run the San Juan half marathon and doing so in less than one hour 40 minutes.  Tough words.
