Wake Up Call
May 10, 2009Before I go into my main goal of this, I ‘d like to say that there are some really GREAT people on BodySpace. If there are people that are willing to help you out and make suggestions, be sure to listen to them. Or if they blog about what they’re doing in the gym or eating, try it. If it seems to work, THANK THEM. There are way too many people that only say something when it’s bad. I’m the exact opposite, if something’s good or someone goes out of their way, that’s when I speak up. For that reason, thanks to people like ChickenTuna (her website has excellent nutrition advice), Marzia Prince (amazing website) and Nicole (AKA Romantic1983).
It was Nicole that kind of kicked me in the head woke me up….just by a little suggestion. She said, "you should put up more pics". I’m thinking to myself, "but if I put up pics, I’ll look terrible. Besides, I put up all the pictures I have of myself". Since the Arnold, my stringbean self has been trying to gain some actual muscle. Which in my mind let me eat sort of what I wanted. Unfortunately, I got lazy on the easier eating schedule. So while I’m lifting more than I ever have (and weighing more), I feel like a glutton. That’s the point of the pictures. To check yourself.
So starting 5/11 I’m going back a cleaner diet and at least 2 extra cardio sessions per week (I currently do 4-5). The original plan was to wait until after Memorial Day. But why? No more laziness. Thank you for the Wake Up Call
