Weighed myself today for the new rededication ceremony…not too bad…not back at my starting worst…I mean weight. We shall see. The misses is going to be doing this with me, now that we’re back on track after the pregnancy. This week’s goal is 3 pounds.

I’m so sorry for dissappearing off the face of the earth…I’m sure you’ve looked for me on milk cartons and everything. I’m alive and well. I have been caught up in the joys and traps of fatherhood, but I still need to get focused on losing weight. I feel pretty good and the pants are looser, however, the scale hasn’t been telling too good of a story. I’m trying to get stabilized with daycare for my son and get my wife back to work so we can get a solid routine back on the table. Once I get that going I’ll be ready to get back to losing weight and claiming what’s mine.
Thanks for all of the well wishes and continue support through my absence!

My lil Boy has arrived! 8 lbs 15 oz 20 1/2 inches long. I couldn’t be happier. He’s healthy, happy and strong like a lion.
As you can imagine, I’ve been very busy, but I will try to post when I can. Keep keepin’ on everyone!

Well things aren’t going well on the weight loss train. I have a baby on the way, any day now. I’ve been prepping for that. We’ve been eating out alot…what’s funny is I don’t eat as much as I used to. Actually probably half…I’m not a member of the clean plate club anymore…however, I do believe that when you eat out, restaraunts bury so much salt into your food that even when you eat healthy, (sushi, salads, etc) you’re not really eating healthy. It seems to me if you don’t cook for yourself, you won’t see the advantage of healthy food choices. Maybe this is something everyone knows, but there it is. I have a gas grill, so grilling on it seems to make a healthy meal…if I can kick the carbs, and get off the summer Pop kick…I should be a whole lot better. BTW Wouldn’t a self cleaning grill be a great idea?

CHANGING THINGS UP ON THE BLOG…NOT GOING TO BE POSTING MY DAILY FOOD INTAKE. I KNOW WHAT I’VE GOT TO DO…SEEMS LIKE TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE CRITICAL, THAT IF YOU DON’T EAT EXACTLY AS THEY RECOMMEND YOU WON’T SUCCEED. SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE’S GOT THE MAGIC PILL OR RECIPE TO LOSING WEIGHT. YOU KNOW IT’S FUNNY, ASK ANYONE WHO’S STRUGGLED WITH THEIR WEIGHT AND THEY’LL TELL YOU THAT THEY’VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE. DO YOU REALIZE THAT ANYONE WHO IS AS BIG AS FOLKS LIKE MYSELF KNOW WHAT TO DO TO LOSE WEIGHT? IT’S LIKE TELLING SOMEONE YOU KNOW, IF YOU EAT LESS AND WORK OUT MORE YOU’LL LOSE WEIGHT, NO SHIT…AND PRO WRESTLING’S FAKE? I DIDN’T KNOW THAT. COME ON PEOPLE…OFFER THE SUPPORT, SHARE SOME WISDOM…BUT DON’T CONDESCEND OTHERS WHO ARE GOING THROUGH THE STRUGGLE. IF YOU CAME HERE TO HAVE MUSCLES IN YOUR SHIT AND WANT TO LOOK LIKE A PACK OF CANS WRAPPED IN A TOO TIGHT PAIR OF NYLONS, GO FOR IT. I JUST WANT TO BE LIGHTER AND I WILL GET THERE. EVERYONE’S NOT HERE FOR THE SAME REASON. SOME WANT TO GET RIPPED TO GET LAID AND COMPENSATE FOR THE LACK OF PERSONALITY OR HEIGHT THEY’LL NEVER HAVE, THAT’S FANTASTIC…I’M HAPPY FOR YOU. STOP ASKING WHAT DIET ARE YOU ON…STOP STATING THE OBVIOUS…YOU’RE BIG, YOU NEED TO WORK OUT MORE…GOT IT…I LOVE ALL OF THE STONE THROWERS WHO VOMIT ADVICE CONSTANTLY AND DON’T EVEN COP TO THEIR OWN DIETS OR WORKOUT PLANS.
I’M NOT LOOKING FOR FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS, BUT DON’T TREAT ME LIKE I’M TWO AND ASK ME, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF AN EXERCISE BIKE OR SWIMMING?
COME ON NOW. FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ON THE TRAIN I APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT…FOR ANYONE ELSE…DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.
