The United States Navy

Well, I went to boot camp.  So easy it was.  However, I lost much of my muscular mass because at Recruit Training Command, they focused on endurance training, and most of the food we ate was extremely healthy.  It was nice to lose 30 lbs, but I want it back!  Now I’m at Naval Service Training Command, waiting to class up in Apprentice Technical Training before I head out to Pensacola, FL.  We have the Galley (a food court) and several nice gyms here, but it is hard to get a hold of "clean" nutrition.  The Galley is clean, but they usually just load you up on carbohydrates; not nearly enough protein as I suggest or like what I used to eat.  But it’s sustainable, and I have 100% On-Whey to supplement that.  It’s all good!  I’m back up to 205 at the moment, and my body-fat (by caliper) is at 15%, which is well above what I would like, but right now, I am focusing on gaining my muscle mass back.  And I shall!

P.S. To all my fellow sailors, good luck in your endeavors!  And stop drinking so much! 3 ARIs a night is enough damnit!
