Losing weight! Ahhh!

I weighed in yesterday.  Jan 2, 08, I was 220lbs.  Jan 21, I was 215!!!  I don’t know what’s going on! I wanted to scream, because I’m really not trying to lose weight in general.  I’m trying to add some lean muscle mass; and what I am hoping is, is that the weight I have lost is all bodyfat.  If it’s not, I’ll have to make some changes to my diet and routine.  I am currently on a standard 2000 calorie diet; and I suppose with all that I do every day, I am burning a bit more than that.  So I am at a deficit, but I didn’t want the deficit to be high enough to lose actual lean tissue.  My carbs are very low however.  Chicken, Tuna, Turkey and Eggs, most green vegetables and fruits, along with vitamins and water consist of my diet.  I cheat every other week with a pint of ice cream though. :D hehe…  Anyway, I have lost 5lbs, and in the mirror, I can see that I am losing body-fat, but I need to make SURE that it is just body-fat.  After summer, I’m probably going to bulk up again anyway.  The goal of my lifestyle was to NOT go through cycles, but to stay fit naturally.  I didn’t want to bulk, cut, bulk, cut every year; I’d rather maintain one style, for the rest of my life, and stay fit that way — what I am doing right now seems to be working well, along with time management; however, I don’t want to KEEP losing weight.  So I have a new goal now… finding an equilibrium for my daily physical exertion, and my caloric/fat/carb intake.  Wish me luck!  Thanks for reading, and have fun BBing!
