I have graduated Apprentice Technical Training. Just awaiting my new orders now; which should have me moving out to Pensacola, Florida soon. Probably around Apr. 30th or May the 9th. I really like cooler weather, but most have told me that the weather is great there, nice beaches, good people, and great food. So I’m all down!
I also called one of my shipmate buddies who is on the base now; he told me that the ship policies and liberty policies were good and fair, and that protocol is still standard, but much more relaxed. Phase II and III is also easy to get I suppose. I really don’t like Great Lakes at all, it is a very depressing atmosphere — but no matter! I’ll be out and on my way soon. (No more of the USS Enterprise … xD)
As usual, I wish the best for my fellow shipmates in all your endeavors; and may your families and friends remain safe and content while you defend them from afar (or near… who knows?)!

Well, I went to boot camp. So easy it was. However, I lost much of my muscular mass because at Recruit Training Command, they focused on endurance training, and most of the food we ate was extremely healthy. It was nice to lose 30 lbs, but I want it back! Now I’m at Naval Service Training Command, waiting to class up in Apprentice Technical Training before I head out to Pensacola, FL. We have the Galley (a food court) and several nice gyms here, but it is hard to get a hold of "clean" nutrition. The Galley is clean, but they usually just load you up on carbohydrates; not nearly enough protein as I suggest or like what I used to eat. But it’s sustainable, and I have 100% On-Whey to supplement that. It’s all good! I’m back up to 205 at the moment, and my body-fat (by caliper) is at 15%, which is well above what I would like, but right now, I am focusing on gaining my muscle mass back. And I shall!
P.S. To all my fellow sailors, good luck in your endeavors! And stop drinking so much! 3 ARIs a night is enough damnit!

Damn! lol… It’s about time huh? Finally got the HIIT in at the middle of March, and I have noticed some really significant body-fat loss. I upped my protein intake to about 2grams per lb of body weight. So I get roughly about 380-400 grams of protein per day, at the moment I weight 196lbs. I still eat like a dog though, good thing it’s clean. My lifts went up quite a bit too! I’ll update some of my lifting stats and some pictures in a moment. But training has been going great! I can see my abs now, I can see a vein in my anterior deltoid!!! lol And oh man, do I get vascularity like heck during my workouts! People stare at me sometimes… lol Still on the 100% ON-Whey, Muscle Milk and Taurine. The stuff is awesome. I’ll upload some pictures tonight also. Good luck everyone, and have fun BBing! Thanks for reading.

I talked to my weight training instructor; and he told me not to worry, because with my calorie intake so high(2500cal/day), it’s most likely that I am losing body fat. I hope that is true. Jan 2, 08 I was 221lbs; Jan 21 I was 215lbs; and February 16, I weighed in at 209lbs. I was upset! lol Because I thought that I was losing muscle mass and did not know why. I am due for a hydrolysis test soon, because I really don’t trust the accuracy of the calipers. Hope all this weight lost was body-fat and not lean muscle tissue! Hoping for the best.

I weighed in yesterday. Jan 2, 08, I was 220lbs. Jan 21, I was 215!!! I don’t know what’s going on! I wanted to scream, because I’m really not trying to lose weight in general. I’m trying to add some lean muscle mass; and what I am hoping is, is that the weight I have lost is all bodyfat. If it’s not, I’ll have to make some changes to my diet and routine. I am currently on a standard 2000 calorie diet; and I suppose with all that I do every day, I am burning a bit more than that. So I am at a deficit, but I didn’t want the deficit to be high enough to lose actual lean tissue. My carbs are very low however. Chicken, Tuna, Turkey and Eggs, most green vegetables and fruits, along with vitamins and water consist of my diet. I cheat every other week with a pint of ice cream though. hehe… Anyway, I have lost 5lbs, and in the mirror, I can see that I am losing body-fat, but I need to make SURE that it is just body-fat. After summer, I’m probably going to bulk up again anyway. The goal of my lifestyle was to NOT go through cycles, but to stay fit naturally. I didn’t want to bulk, cut, bulk, cut every year; I’d rather maintain one style, for the rest of my life, and stay fit that way — what I am doing right now seems to be working well, along with time management; however, I don’t want to KEEP losing weight. So I have a new goal now… finding an equilibrium for my daily physical exertion, and my caloric/fat/carb intake. Wish me luck! Thanks for reading, and have fun BBing!

Ugh… one of the single most difficult things that I have planned to do in my entire life.
Peter, a very good friend of mine, mentors me on some of the nutritional and training aspects of bodybuilding. I told him how the body-fat that I had, was driving me nuts, and I wanted to get rid of it, so I could see what specific muscular tissues or groups needed targeting and training.
His suggestion was a 2-3 week high protein, Non-carbohydrate diet. For 2-3 weeks, my diet will consist of tuna, rice and water… I have forseen the pain and suffering that I will endure during this mini-cut. However, I do want to cut some of the lingering body-fat. Therefore, I will enter a hardcore state of mind, and push it out. Along with my 18 hours of medical school this semester.
Any encouragement would be great; because I will be living in sheer hell until January 21st. Then I can go back to my regular diet. Chicken/Turkey/Tuna/Eggs - Veggies - Low sugar fruits - water - and orange juice.
I’m gonna do it guys! Wish me luck. And I hope you people can reach your goals this year too. If I remain alive for the time, I will make sure I do. Thanks for ready.
Have fun BBing!

Well, I guess it’s time to take pictures again. I’ve noticed some minor improvements, muscle gain and body fat loss, from the last pictures I’ve taken. Plus I haven’t has as much time to pay attention to the bodybuilding.com forums, like I used to. The holidays are coming up, and I’m trying to get some ideas, as to how to NOT junk up my diet during the break.
It wont be long though, about a week. I think I’ll take a dumbell home with me, since we don’t a gym out in the deep south country. LOL!!! I should be ok. I hope the rest of you are too! Have fun stuffing your faces over the Christmas dinner table; I will!
Happy holidays folks! Take care.

Well, I’ll be short and to the point. I was tired of being weak and fat. I was losing weight for a while, but my muscle was going with it. I could not allow this. I have started hitting the gym hard, eating healthy foods, drinking lots and lots of water; and I also try to stay on the go.
I noticed my metabolism skyrocketed also. Food used to stick to me for an entire day… now my body processes it at a normal rate in no time. I have more energy, and when I leave the gym, I’m awake for the entire day with a "pumped" feeling.
I’m really enjoying this. I think I will keep at it for a long while. I have plans to become a sexy manbeast… but that’s far down the road. We shall see later I suppose. LOL Thanks to all on the forum for the support, constructive criticism and kind words.
Looking towards getting Anton Antipov’s body type! WOOT! XD
