Body Parts

So heres the deal when iwork out i like to work opposite body parts at the same time: like Biceps & Triceps, Chest & Back. But for some reason some one told me that th’s the "wrong" way to work out, he didn’t say why. Can anybody can give me plausible reson as to why?
