He said I held it and then it slid towards my face&#8230;2nd attempt at 462&#8230;2 whites&#8230;side judge said I was wobbling the bar coming down&#8230;3rd attempt 480&#8230;3 reds&#8230;go explosion from the hole&#8230;3/4&#8217;s of the way up the elbows flared out&#8230;not going anywhere&#8230;no excuses but I was coming down with something Saturday night, throat got scratchy, chest was congested, nose was congested&#8230;it sucked when I coughed because I would spit out huge nasty loogies&#8230;oh well&#8230;just in the cards at the meet. But hey there is another meet. We saw some crazy numbers put up. Long ass drive&#8230;I feel like shit and am running a fever and all that shit.</div>

Ok so the meet came and went. I didn&#8217;t get the total I wanted. I weighed in at 236 at weigh in.

I opened my squat at 507 and got 3 whites. 2nd attempt at 540 and got 2 reds for depth&#8230;stayed with it for my 3rd to get it and I did (will post on youtube under pwrlftr242lbs.)<br />
On to bench&#8230;opened at 413 and got 3 whites. 3nd attempt at 440 and got red lights (i paused midway, again will be on youtube.) Kept same weight for 3rd and got it.<br />
I opened deadlift at 502 and got 3 whites, 2nd attempt 540 and got 3 whites. 3rd attempt went up to 573 and pulled it off the floor only to let it go back&#8230;blacked out for a bit .<br />
Not what I wanted but I did finish the meet. That&#8217;s always a good thing.</p>
<p>Back to the board come Monday.</td>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It has been pretty busy these last few weeks&#8230; football team has been in the play-offs and we are in the big dance this Saturday, the State Championship.</p>
<p>My training has been going well as I am getting ready for a meet on December 8. I am going to do a full meet, squat, bench and deadlift. I am so looking forward to squatting as I have not squatted since last December in a meet. I had knee surgery last December.</p>
<p>I am really going for that 500 bench this meet. I want to total over 1500&#8230;1700 would be great.</p>
<p>The powerlifting team is getting stronger as we are still working on our dvd, Half-Evil Powerlifting, our team name. Currently we have 8 lifters and working on a few more. Our gym is doing well as we have a few MMA fighters, some boxers and a bodybuilder.</p>

<p>Well I was towards my last sets in doing goodmornings, and old school powerlifter walks by and comments that it is nice to walk in a gym and see someone lifting heavy weights&#8230;well picture 3 guys next to me doing db chest presses&#8230;they get up and get heavier dbs and struggle&#8230;.lol&#8230;well we have brief conversation in between our sets&#8230;and he is squatting with great depth&#8230;we talk about depth and he says he can&#8217;t stand to see people half ass squat&#8230;well 2 guys are squatting and they are doing 1/4 squats..now to each their own in lifting but make sure you lift with full range of motion&#8230;well I finish my sets of goodmornings and finish my speed rack pulls, he finishes his squats, front squats and SLDLs&#8230;now remember the 3 guys that were db benching&#8230;.they are still benching with dbs&#8230;and after each set they would stare in the mirror&#8230;it was quite a site&#8230;again to each their own&#8230;but when you hear..&quot;Dude you are getting thick!&quot; and the guy looks 130 soaking wet&#8230;</p>
<p>But at least they are in the gym doing something&#8230; Lift large people!

I have noticed that I have been sweating more&#8230;I do notice a vascualrity while training. If you guys want something that is good stuff, then I suggest you buy Animal X when it goes on sale in the future!</p>
