I agree with Al. Motivation can follow action. You need to just tell yourself how bad youwant this. Its not impossible. Its not even THAT hard. It just takes persistance. You have to go to the gym regularly to see results. lol Read my last blog post for some real motivation!

Here's a few thoughts on "motivation". We’ve all been there struggling to get ourselves up &amp; moving.

1) I think a lot of "motivation" is borne out of necessity. For example, I get up every morning at 4:30am to hit the gym at 5am. I wouldn’t consider myself a morning person; but I suck it up, since it’s the only time I can fit in consistent w/o’s. Evenings are not an option, since I have kids, other time commitments, working late, etc.

2) Don’t count on "motivation" to get you going &amp; staying with it. It’s an emotion, &amp; it fluctuates with life’s ups &amp; downs. Motivation often FOLLOWS action, rather than precedes it. I think most folks here will say that it’s persistence &amp; determination, not motivation, that gets them moving &amp; keeps them going. Motivation usually wanes after the initial excitement of something wears off. Then what have you got? Determination. And, keeping your goal in front of you everyday.

GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN DO IT!
