Just don’t know anymore……
As I sit her tonight on the sofa I wonder if I should just quit powerlifting all together. My lower back is always tight and sore and I don’t know why. I use to be able to still do squats and it not get to out of sorts but today by squats sucked.As soon and I put the bar on my back the compression of the weight on my lower left side aches. I have tried and tried to figure it out. I have read rounding the back and bad placement are the problems but I am not doing any of those things at all. Maybe I am getting to old for the crap. LOL. It just seems anything like deadlifts, squats, stiff deadlifts and barbell rows bother my lower back to a point that is not good.My workout partner suggested I do some inversions today. So I did. Not my fav thing to do since I don’t really like hanging upside down with the blood rushing to my head but anywho it was crazy cause it seemed not to help at all. I could not lift myself up it made my back stiff to were I could not bend back up. He had to push me up. Im just in a total funk over all this and feel like giving up.
