I was at Max Muscle in Venice Bch a few days ago and was told that the always ripped Cathy LeFrancois will not be doing the Ms. O this weekend.  Although Cathy is not the biggest competior she always manages to come in great condition.  It seems she had a accident while at home and did some serious damage to her elbow with only 6 weeks left to compete.  Im sure next season we will she her right back up in the spotlight!  Get better soon Cathy.

This year while I was working at the Vitargo booth at the Arnold I was very lucky to be staying at the same hotel as Shawn Roden.  Having a meal at the hotel Shawn and I talked and I was very impressed with this bodybuilder.  He was covered up but he remind me of a young Flex Wheeler with great shape, full muscle bellies and good size.  Shawn told me he was born in Jamaica but now lived on the East coast and wanted to compete again soon.  Shawn was very polite with excellent verbal skills and I thought that he would do the sport good one day!  Well Shawn’s wish came true as he won the North America overall this year.  Shawn called me Wen to say he will be at the Mr. O and is thinking still about what his first Pro show will be.  Way to go Shawn

On Monday I sat down and interviewed the new IFBB Pro Sherlyn Roy firgure competior for instructionalfitness.com.  The good news is that I host the web site and Sherlyn will now be joining me in that position.  Sherlyn has had a great year with turning Pro and doing the Team Universe.  After that I saw her compete at the Arnold ad she looked so natural on stage.  This might be due to the years before that she trained in dance and then went on the be a NFL cheerleader getting her Superbowl ring.  This past month with the help of here trainer Charles Glass she placed 2nd at the Atalanic show.  Only 1 week out from the Ms. O she was excited and looking forward to step on stage as her 1st year as a Pro and doing the Ms. Olympia.  Good luck Sherlyn.
