I went to get my measurements today and get my body index taken, I wasnt expecting much I havnt been in football now for 2 years and havnt done much of anything but eat and lift but still i thought I was doing better then what today showed. When I looked at how much my waist has grown I felt just deppressed like all my work has been for nothing. I workout almost 4 times a week and heavy i do my crunchs and situps but i slack on the cardio i guess is why ive been getting so heavy. I looked at my self and was like how im no where near seeing abs at all despite what ive told my self and after reveiwing my body fat index ive decided its time for maybe something new a change in my workout and really time to up the cardio
So i went and rearranged all my goals and my I am looking for some routines that can help me reach them. I Think Ive givin mny self a realistic date for some of them but any help is always great. So If anyone has any helpful advice please pitch it in. Guess Im off to the treadmill now

I really love seeing my strenght increase and low reps high wieghts are doing that but i hear that lower wieght higher reps will get me bigger faster im not sure if this is a rumor or fact but i hear the arguement alot from views of bodybuilders and powerlifters and im really confused, will a lower weight higher rep make me bigger faster then useing a high wieght lower rep???¿¿¿

I went to the gym lastnight for my bench day and ive always been a bigger fan of powerlifting then bodybuilding the more the wieght the better i fill kinda thing so when i see someone reppin with more then 400 i usualy stop and give them some respect. Well I got to talking to this guy who i seen do a 1 rep max with 6 plates and was like wow how do i get there and he started talking to be about ruberbands…. I was like what¿ Ruberbands¿ and he said he will show me so i got into my routine and i can rep out 270 lbs 5 times when he put on the rubberbands it felt like a 1000lbs i had to drop alot of wieght off to do a full set after 5 sets of 5 my chest felt like it was on fire i coult belive it i hadnt felt that kinda pain since i first started to lift and was amazed so ima try out the ruberbands and wieghts for a while and see what happens to my overall 1 rep max

Ive always wondered what would happen if i worked out with high weights and low weights in the same day so ive been doing 8 sets in all my work outs 5 sets of 5 then 3 sets of 10 so far its working right after every workout i can fill every muscle that was worked in flames and swollen to the point where i can flex and the pump looks like tight ropes running through my muscles i think im going to keep trying this rouine just until i begin to platue agian and keep track of my gains

Im more then happy with the size of my arms chest and shoulders, but the things i really want to see is my abs Ive never seen them before Im trying to refrane from eating less i love my foods but the foods most people say to eat happen to be more then what is in my wallet im doing crunchs sit ups but i hate cardio so much i guess ill just start running alot more and see what happens
