LEGS :)
Been kind of weird this week with being busy, so we’re a little behind in the workouts. Last night was the first run-through of legs. Squats rock! LOL I did 135 for 3 reps, probably could have gotten the 4th. I’m SUPER proud of myself for that. And they were deep, too
The workout looked like this:
Seated Leg Extensions, 2×100 reps ("warm up") at 20lbs
Squats (2 light x 10 reps, 2 heavy x 2-5 reps), 45, 75, 95, 135
Hack Squats (3 x 10-15): machine weight, 10, 30 (I hate this machine)
Leg Press (3×30): 90
Seated Leg curls 3×15: 90, 90, 90
Standing Leg curls 3×10: 20, 30, 35 (my legs aren’t long enough for this machine lol)
Lying Leg Curls 3×12: 45, 50, 60
There’s been a sinus infection/laryngitis thingie going around work for a while now and I brought it home
Both of us have it. I laugh only because it’s freaking May already and this shouldn’t be around any longer. I don’t think my docs will do anything about it (aka give antibiotics) until Thursday, which is the only day I can get in anyways, so I’m going back to sleep.

It’s tough training with sinus problems. I have a deviated septum (surgery in June) and it can sap the energy out of working out sometimes. The only only thing to do is push through it.

Sinus infection / laryngitis thingie: A serious threat all the world around. Nice job on the 135 deep’s, as squats do, yes, ROCK!

Argh, sorry to hear about the sinus/laryngitis stuff going around!! Hopefull you’ll be able to dodge that… AWESOME with the squats, though, and three times!! That’s like squatting yourself, your kitty, and… a 10 lb. bag of potatoes? Uh, I don’t know how much cats weigh… but what I’m trying to say is - Phenomenal job!!
