Sooo…..half of my bridesmaids (1 of 2) "might not be able to make it." LOOOOOOOOOOONG story but she doesn’t want to come. Maybe a little more than 30 day notice would be nice so I can ask someone else and she can order her dress (since the store doesn’t carry it and it has to be ordered) and have it in time for the wedding. Perhaps that’s asking a bit too much. Or, perhaps finding a couple people to marry us means that something else has to go wrong. Oh, and mom’s pissed that I didn’t send an invite to Stupid Cousin (though her dad will probably drag her along anyways) because "it’s going to cause so much hurt in the family." WTF?!? Nobody else likes her. And mom can always say that it wasn’t her idea. Why on Earth should I support something that I absolutely don’t? (and yes, allowing something to continue is tacitly supporting it) Oh yea, I have a chem test tomorrow that I’m totally not ready for, 3 more class periods before finals, a paper to turn in tomorrow, a project to turn in Monday….

I don’t have anything planned until July of next year (ish) so what’s with the comp dreams? I had another one last night. This time I didn’t decide until the night before that I was going to do it, had to run to WalMart at 11:58pm to get my tan, and ended up at the venue too late to actually compete, which is typically me, heh. I wasn’t in tip-top shape, more like the squishy 119-ish that I currently am. I guess I’m supposed to compete next year, eh? My fear is that my arms aren’t big enough. I really don’t want to be that girl that looks good except for the missing arm volume, ya know? Legs are fairly good, but that’s where I hold my squish the most, so theoretically if I stick with it long enough they should even out, but arms definitely need more size. Guess I also need to start liking arm days more.
Guess I better stick to the diet I’m supposed to be on. Whatever money is left after rent will go to buying oats and greens, probably some yogurt and a lunch box and ice pack so I can actually bring it with me to school. I have a fridge at work that I can use, it’s school–especially Mondays being lab days–that throw the wrench in the eating schedule. At least it’s organic chem lab, which means everything needs to cook a while so I can sneak out and stuff my face quickly for a moment.

After about 8 hours of Lego Star Wars video game action, I finally had a merging of my addictions last night. I’ve been playing the game last night and the night before for about 4 hours each before falling asleep. The night before last I had a dream that I was the main character (characters in free play mode: after beating the level in story mode you get to pick your party and toggle between characters to get all the extra goodies in the levels) playing through. That’s not abnormal after playing so intensely right before bed. Last night, however, was typical me dream: real people in totally bizarre settings. I finally gave up on the game for the night after not being able to conquer jumping from ledge to ledge and not walking in a straight line along a catwalk and plunging to Lego stud spewing death. In my dream, I was competing in a figure competition with real people, but set in the Lego Star Wars catwalk setting. Try doing that in 5 inch heels!! OMG it sucked lol Thankfully it was just a dream. I don’t know how I did, but I know I looked better than I do now (thank you no self control these last couple weeks…) so that actually really motivates me to kick it in gear! How many times have I said that before????

I always seem to want to just pick up and start over this time of year. So far, I don’t feel the need to, though, which is good LOL Except for not making it back to Nebraska like planned Thanksgiving was pretty good. I’m really bummed I didn’t go, though. I was fine to drive back, I just didn’t. My mom didn’t think I was going to be able to, but honestly I could have. I should have. I don’t know how much longer my grandparents will be on their farm, and I haven’t been back in almost 2 years. Granted the drive home this morning wouldn’t have been terribly fun in the snow, it would have been doable. I really should have woken up early yesterday morning and gone. I did have a good meal at the pot luck thingie at Adam’s parent’s church. They had some wonderful pumpkin dishes. By the end of dinner I felt pumpkined out, but that feeling was over after a few hours lol I think I’m going to bake me a pie this weekend before I hit the diet/training/cleanse starting Monday. We’re 34 days away, so it’s crunch time!

I like cycling through my old pics, especially that pic from March. I think it’s when my abs look best. I really need to start working abs again with every workout. We were doing that, but then school got crazy and work is changing for Adam and life has thrown me a curveball (hopefully it’s nothing, though) so we’ve been out of the gym for a week and a half now. I had every intention of going for some cardio this morning, but my comforter was much more inviting lol I have got to break that habit.
Hopefully the storm is about over so I can head out to my grandparent’s farm and not get snowed out there because I have to work Friday afternoon. I’ll need to check on that and see if I can leave this afternoon. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! We all have our health to be thankful for, as well as our gym partners and spotters, trainers, families, friends, support. Take care!

We’ve been out of the gym this last week (seeing as it is now Monday again). Life has been pretty crazy, school is pretty crazy, work is changing again for Adam, we’re currently 38 days out and still don’t have someone to marry us….Hopefully that will change this week. Anyhow, just thought I’d update everyone. Have a great week!

YAAAAY! Amy was voted off and Brian–who is so much more dedicated and so much more willing to work for it–saves the Red team from extinction!
Yes, I’m a dork.

I really wish I could see my backside progressing without looking like an idiot trying to twist my head around. I know I could get a full-sized mirror and do it that way, but that would be far too easy lol i also really need to stretch my hamstrings after deadlifting so i don’t walk funny for days afterwards.
