Advice for tweaking diet needed…
I have to tell you about my new plan and see if you guys can pick it apart or do whatever. I have been feeling so run down these last few weeks. Not just run down, but phyically exhausted and tired! Even after I took a week off two weeks ago. I discussed it with my wife last night, and she seems to think that I am not eating enough/getting enough calories. Even though I am eating 6 times a day as prescribed, she said when she did the program a few years back, she was eating the same amount I am now and she dropped a bit of weight, and she weighed quite a bit less than I do now. So that leads me to believe I may need more calories. This could be true because I feel I am losing muscle at the same rate I am losing fat, and I do not want to lose the muscle. I definitely would like to gain/maintain muscle at this point for the next few weeks until the end of the contest and I have my shoulder surgery in the beginning of July. I will definitely be in Hoss/Gain mode after the surgery, I can’t wait for that! But in the meantime, I think I am going to try and get a few more carbs in, because I don’t think the fist full of brown rice or sweet potato, or sugar-free yogurt is cutting it. Any tips/comments/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for your support.

I think I am getting around 230 grams with the above plan.

I have no idea what could be causing you energy drain. Everthing looks okay to me. How is your sleeping?

I am sleeping on average of 7 hours a night…
It seems like I struggle to hit the 230 range for carbs, do you think that I should be having more of that?

I think you should get more sleep, try 8 h for a couple of days. Also, coffee is great for energy boost before a workout.
