Because of work and personal commitments, it’s been so difficult to get to the gym over the past three months. Returned this week, but doing only cardio for 30 minutes just to limber up and breathe some life back into myself. Starting to fee the effects already.

I think that I have got a routine going. It has been difficult to figure out how to make time, but I’ve been hitting the gym consistently and I can feel (if not see!) the effect on my body. Am keeping track of my routine and of the weights/reps and this helps me to review my programme. I now want to introduce extra cardio to supplement the time I spend on cardio when at the gym - possibly running outdoors at the weekends.

Leg day today. Went at lunchtime, but had to rush. Can see some gains, but need to make more. Started with 5 mins hard pedalling on stationary cycle to warm up.
