Eating & losing.

This week-end Tickle & I went on a retreat – damn those nuns can cook! I ate far more carbs and starch than I usually do and didn’t do any formal, planned exercise. I’d resigned myself to the fact that I’d have put on weight by the time I got home but this was not to be! I still lost weight – in fact I’m the lowest I’ve been since I started this BodySpace thingy. How did this happen? I’m as confused as all hell.

Moods.

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

Today’s workout was good. It’s the mid-workout-week workout (Try saying that fast ten times!) where I do the parts I hate working the most. My legs and lower body. I don’t like working my legs because it feels as if they’re not strong enough and they get tired very quickly. They don’t seem to have any staying power.

The wierd thing is it’s my legs that have responded the best to exercize and they’re looking really good compared to what they were! I wish I’d found this bodyspace thingy when I first started so I could have pictures of the difference! I had a fleeting thought of putting the weight back on, taking pictures then losing it again. Sorry - not going to happen!

I never thought your mood could affect your workout so severely, but I got overwhelmingly brilliant news yesterday afternoon - night and it’s boosted me physically to such an extent! I’m quite astounded!

Rested & Ready

I got in some needed sleep last night. I wouldn’t say I’m 100% awake and I could definately do with some more sleep, but I’ve had enough sleep to cope.

This morning’s workout is the easiest in my 4 day regime. I haven’t been at the cardio since…um…Thursday last week I think, which is no good. I need cardio – I hate cardio but I need it or the fat simply doesn’t bugger off!

Sleepless overeating.

I haven’t slept a full night since Sunday. I over eat when I’m tired. I know I’m overeating, I simply can’t help myself. I’ll be satisfied and simply carry on eating. I also don’t exercize to my full potential when I’m tired. Gym was good this morning, but not as good as it could have been.

Tonight I am going to get a full night’s sleep and start again tomorrow.

Melting fat.

The weight seems to be simply falling off right now. I struggled so much to lose my first 6kg (before I found this site and bodyblog thingy) but it seems some equalibrium has been broken!

I really hope it doesn’t stop falling off until closer to my goal weight. That’d be very disheartening.

Can’t have your cake.

Even though you promise yourself that you won’t eat any cake, never-never-never go to the table where a work colleague has set up her birthday goodies!

It’s always a case of crumbling for a ‘little’ cake…
