Strength Loss
Monday, December 8th, 2008It’s amazing how fast the strength drains out of muscle if you don’t keep up the training! I’ve allowed myself some time off due to the marriage & honeymoon but started training this morning again. I was shocked!
I knew after not training I’d have to start on a lesser workout to get into the swing of things again, but I was really surprised at how I struggled even though I’d chosen weights lower than what I’d been doing!
It’s a good lesson in consistancy. It’s not how much you can pick up in one go - it’s the constant and long term work that really pays off!
