Snotty Colleagues

I’ve managed to avoid my little ill carrier-monkey colleagues for months now. I suppose it’s an inevitability in winter (yes, it’s winter in this hemisphere) though. I’ve finally caught a snotty sniffle. This upsets me because I cannot train while I have this. The training sessions leading up to this haven’t been good either. They were lacking in energy, which should’ve been my fore-warning of the comming cold.

I’ll look after myself and hopefully be on top form by next week and ready to step onto the narrow road of ‘tight like a tiger’ next week again.

Shaking the 78’s.

Things have finally settled down at work and home to allow the regular cardio training I so need and desire. Don’t get me wrong - I HATE cardio but it’s a necessary burden to lose the body fat and get that cut look I so want! I’ve dropped weight fairly steadily and hopefully that’ll continue once I start cardio again - I’ve done a quick one on Monday morning and a 25minute session on Monday evening, last night was Tango lessons and hopefully tonight is another 25minute session.

I seem to be floating around in the 78kg mark - have been since I stopped cardio about 3 weeks ago. It’s disheartening since I’ve been doing weights the whole time. I was hoping to maybe lose a little more. I suppose I shouldn’t be too disheartened since I haven’t been this light for about 12 years! I really, really need to break through the 78kg barrier for a consistant time-span. If I weigh myself on Saturday after my last weekly workout (before my rest period) I can bank on a 77kg reading but during the week I’m back in the 78’s.
