well after a failed bench press workout i think i’m going to focus on intensity making sure every work is balls to the wall…i hurt my knee a couple weeks ago i don’t think it’s too serious but i’m slowly gonna get it back to liftin some serious weight…wish me luck this process will be a tough one for sure but i know it’ll be worth it in the end

so a friend of mine is doing a training program that’s supposed to add 50 pounds in bench press in 7 weeks so i’m looking forward to that. i’m really going to hit hard and cardio too. Things are going to have to change for me but it’ll all be for the good though

well here lately i’ve have been not eating right at all…about two weeks ago i went camping with some friends and i ate pretty crappy there but then after that i got sick for about a week or so and since then i haven’t been able to bounce back for that i’ve tried but i always go back to the way i was eating before…i think the reason i’m like that is cause i have an "all or nothing" attitude. i’ll be doing good for 2-4 weeks and something will come up like hanging our with friends for the weekend and eating like crap and i just give up and it takes me like a week to get motivated and start over but by then it’s like i’m starting over…does anybody else have this problem and if so do you have any advice to combat this attitude?

If anybody has some good protein shake recipes i would like to have them. The milk and the protein powder is getting old.

so i went camping a little while back and i have come to find out how hard it is to eat healthy while your friends down a bunch of hot dogs, smores and cokes. Of course all the stuff looks good so i had to give it a try and well that was a bad idea i ended eating quite a bit i know i have to eat in moderation but that one taste was really good…i’ve always said that if Bad Food Didn’t taste so good i wouldn’t want it. anyway, i kinda beat my self up for it and on top of that i got sick…so it was a double whammy…but now i’m on track again and ready to do work

so yesterday i did a workout called Grace. in this workout you do 30 clean and jerk with 135 lbs. for time and i have made major progress in that workout when i first did it took me 25 min. to complete all 30 reps!!! to that is way slow…yesterday i did it in 7 min. and 31 sec. which is still pretty slow but it shows me 2 different things that i’m stronger and that i’m more able to ignore my body when it comes to little burns. so i’m very happy with that time…and i have college paid for!!!

this site is something else everytime i come on the site i get alittle bit more motivated to succeed in my goal maybe it’s cause i want the transformation of the week honor or just being able to take my shirt off and display my huge lean pecs and wide lats (which will happen one day) but i think it’s just the people on here how some have gone through the rough times and made it work nonetheless thanks to everyone on here and i hope you all succeed in what ever it is your putting you mind to. God Bless

Well after taking some progress pics i’m a little discouraged yet EXTREMELY motivated at the same time. i think it’s time to add some serious cardio on top of the crossfit workouts i should have been doing that the whole time…
