Technique - Gotta have it!
Friday, March 16th, 2007I started body building last year and did a 100 pound bench. I was only lifting 2 days a week. In one year, I had only added 5 pounds to my bench and have not progressed since. Started powerlifting 2 months ago flying solo. Yesterday an x- powerlfiter walks into the gym and give me pointers and I put up 115 with ease! He also gave me some pointers on my deadlift and squat. He said I was lifting safe but not effective. I’m lifting heavy, but I think I could be incredible with the right trainer! Hoping to qualify for nationals my first full powerlifting meet Macrh 25th!
