SURGERY AND LIFE!
I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW I HAD MY THIRD SURGERY ON MY HEAD LAST WEEK DEC 4TH! I HAD A AVM IN 2005 THAT ALMOST KILLED ME AND THE 4 HOUR SURGERY IN NY LEFT ME WITH A BLOOD CLOT FOR 6 MONTHS HAD TO TAKE BLOOD THINNERS EVERYDAY AND GET BLOOD WORK FOR 6 MONTHS. IT TOOK ME 2 YEARS TO GET BACK ON STAGE FINALLY IN 2007 WHICH I DIDNT DO AS WELL AS BEFORE THE AVM WHICH IN 2005 I HAD THREE 1ST PLACE BACK TO BACK WINS AND A SECOND PLACE. I THINK ITS BECAUSE OF THE RUST AND ALL THE MENTAL STRUGGLES IM OVERCOMING AND I ALSO KNEW I WAS GOING IN FOR SURGERY AGAIN SOON AFTER THESE LAST 2 SHOWS I JUST DID SO I WAS NOT 100% BUT I TRIED MY BEST. LAST NOV. WAS THE SECOND SURGERY THEY STILL HAD SOME REPAIRS TO MAKE I HAVE A 8 WEEK WINDOW RIGHT NOW IM BITING MY NAILS TO SEE IF ANY FATAL VASCULAR PROBLEMS APPEAR IF NOT I SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO. IM BACK IN THE GYM IN JANUARY THATS WHY I WROTE IM READY TO ROCK AND ROLL IN 2008. I JUST POSTED MY NEW MAIN PIC OF ME AT MY BEST BEFORE ALL THIS IM GONNA GET THAT BACK AND BETTER I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH IT MAY LOOK HORRIBLE BUT IT WILL PASS AND YOU CAN NEVER GIVE UP. 2 YEARS AGO I WAS BEING WHEELED IN A OPERATING TABLE BEING TOLD I MAY NEVER SEE LIFE AGAIN SAY GOOD BY TO YOUR FAMILY IN CASE. AND LOOK NOW IN 2007 BACK ON STAGE,ROMANCE NOVEL COVERS, MY PLANETGK WEBSITE, A DVD, A NEW SKINCARE LINE COMING OUT IN 6 WEEKS FOR MEN AND WOMEN AND WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT 2 YEARS AGO ALL OUT OF SHAPE HOME HEALING FROM SURGERY, FACE SWOLLEN HAIR FELL OUT FROM TRAUMA, DEPRESSED THAT I WOULD ONE DAY BE THE MOST VIEWED PROFILE ON BODYSPACE NOT ME FOR SURE. SO EVERYONE PLEASE REMEMBER AS LONG AS WE ARE BREATHING LIFE GIVES US THE CHANCE TO CONSTANTLY IMPROVE TO TRY TO MAKE OURSELVES BETTER GOD BLESS EVERYONE THANKS FOR READING THIS, GK

HEy man, I understand I’ve overcome lots, a brain tumor as a kid, 2 collapsed disc in my back as an adult, I thank God every day for the blessings he gave me, Hope all is well.

Thankd George for the inspiring post. I blew out my back four months ago and have not been able to run or lift since. I have three more weeks of therapy and I can not wait to hit the gym (as long as my injury gets better). I’ve gained 20lbs of fat and am so depressed about how I look and feel. Your words have inspired me and I plan on getting back on the diet TODAY!!
