Hello, My fellow Iron brothers and sisters

So, I finally decided to create and account on this forum and do what I vouched never to do; Blog. The main reason I am starting this page, regardless if anyone chooses to read it, is to keep myself focused on the big picture. Countless times, have I begun a new program and left it mid way due to ‘ shoulder issues’ or ‘ I was sick for 2 months’. I love this sport and what it has to offer, but I’ve realized that I need to push myself harder, OUTSIDE the gym, in order to succeed.

I can’t recall the first time I walked into the gym, or the first time I picked up a barbell and felt the cold steel on my hands. To be honest, I can’t think of any specific point in my life where I decided that I wanted to take Bodybuilding serious. What I CAN remember, and to this day, appreciate so much, Is the first time a close friend complimented me on the drastic improvement on my physique. Personally, I didn’t think I looked any different but as time went on, everyone else kept seeing changes, both in my apperance and in my attitude. I began feeling confident and secure in myself.  I slowly began to realize that this great sport had opened my eyes to a world I never knew existed. The amount of information I have learned by reading articles, magazines, and books that are dedicated to nutrition, weight lifting, and well being, have made me better as a person, both inside and out.

In the near future, I plan to commence my studies in the Personal training field and folllow  up with a degree in either Nutrition of Pyschology.

I am forever grateful and in debt to the few people in my life who have helped and motivated me to continue on my journey. Watching videos of the pro’s and looking at their pictures in magazines fuel my fire and push me that much harder so that one day, I might be able to say, " I used to read about those guys in FLEX magazine, and now I am standing on stage with them!"

I feel that I have finally something worth pursuing and will try my best….No…. I will put everything I have, mind, body, and soul, into accomplishing the goals I have set out for myself, both short term and long term. I know that with the support of a few loving individuals and my determination, theres nothing that can stop me.

Look out world, I am ready to rock. Give me your best shot.

"…Find that spark insdie you, and make it the BIGGEST F*cking bon fire anyone has ever seen…"
