Starting and adjusting the diet...
My strength has been pretty good... I haven't done flat barbell bench in a while, and today I knocked out 3 sets of 5 reps at 235 lbs. Not a whole lot compared to most of the people on here, but I'm not sure I've ever been able to complete a 3x5 at that weight (I may have last summer, but I was weighing 205 lbs instead of the 190ish I'm at now).
I'm adjusting my diet to up my calories a bit on workout days since I lost a little too much weight this past week... I started at 195 and was at 187 this morning. Now, most of this is due to the 5 pounds I put on during valentine's day weekend visiting the girlfriend. So, I'll adjust upwards and aim for around 2600 calories on lifting days and 1900-2100 on non lifting days and see if the weight keeps coming off. Today's diet came in pretty decent at 2,640 calories, 221g of carbs, 298g of protein, and 67.5g of fat. This might be too much, but I guess we'll find out in a week.
