How do I get back on that horse ?

Hi all

I am feeling very demotivated , don’t know why , but the need to go to gym is just not there.
I stoped using a personal trainer, the costs were getting high.

I need to get back to be motivated !

I have made good gaines on muscle and size , but just cant shake off the xtra fat around my belly , seem to lose it everywhere els .

Anyway I will stop moaning , and just get on with it !!!!!!

This week……

Okay I have entered a 12 week , see how good you can look competitions. I know all the over weight people so it every year , but this is my first and only try at this , and I am going 2 look good after the 12 weeks are up !

The training in the gym is not as tough as keeping to my diet , I think eating clean is one of the hardest things to do, and also one of the most important. Well I have kept it clean for two weeks now , and I am going to try to keep it that way all through the 12 weeks , 72 days left………

But I am going to do a lifestyle change , I want to eat clean, I want to look good !!! I never had a sixpack and that is one of my dreams , just to look at my belly and say damn , you got a sixpack !!

Also the hard part is comming in Feb , where I am going on holiday with my Family , and you all know what that means , eating and party and and , but not this time , eating clean , keeping to water , and having fun with Fam. I have already found out where the local gym is , and going make a plan to get in the gym on holiday and also go for fat burning on the beach

Pls let me know if you have any tips for holiday training :)

Holiday is over HARD WORK starts now

Well it has been a while since my last post. The holiday has come and now it is gone again!

Like the Title says , Hard work starts now! I need to set some goals , and maybe log the better , as I have seen I start out well and then somewhere in the middle I lose motivation.

The big problem is the eating clean , I have to work on that , it is fine in the week but over weekends , well you get the picture.

Well here are my goals for the new year , lose body fat , I want to get 2 11% and I am now about 21% so is a long way to go

But hey , I Just have to stay with it

Happy new year all , and I hope you guys and gals have a good year and is filled with what your heart wants ;)

Where I am At

I am working out with n personal trainer this last two months, I must say I think it is working with me , I have increased strength, and lost some Body Fat %

But the thing is , I am not losing what I should be losing , think my eating plan was not up 2 scratch.

So I changed it a bit.

This is what I am eating at this stage:

6:30:100g of uncooked Oats

6 Egg Whites 1 Full egg

10:00 Whey Protein Shake with one Green apple

13:00 Chiken Breast with one Cup of rice

16:00 Whey Protein Shake

19:00 Chiken Or Steak with greens , or salad

Whey protein shake before bed

I am using a multi vit , and Kre-Alkalyn

Wel I will keep you updated , but with the holiday season comming up I wil have to deal with a lot of temtation

What to do…….

Hi , This week has been a bit slower for me gym wise. My trainer is off sick so , this week I am working more on a bit of cardio , and targeting some of the parts of my body witch I think needs a bit more work.

I have been eating clean , and staying to my diet . I have also lost about 2kg or 4.4Lbs ….

I will wait for the fat % to see if I made any real gains , I feel my arms are getting bigger , and my legs are getting a bit more definition.

With the cardio , I am trying to stay in n heart rate off 115-134

Just to stay in fat burning , and not muscle burning

Ok well thats all from me for today !!

Mixing it Up

I have been doing my own thing now for n while, not always sure if I am doing it the right or the wrong way.
So I went to see n personal trainer this week to help me out, on my eating and my training, and I must say I think this was the right move for me.

On my eating plan I am trying to get 160g of protein and 160g of carbs trough the day. Splitting the protein up in six 26g meals a day, and the carbs anytime of the day but not exceeding 160g.

I will be following n 3 day split, and the rest doing some cardio, and not exceeding n heart rate of 136
My body fat is at 22%, but it needs to be about 10%, so in the next three months I am going to get there

Thanks to all the people on bodyspace supporting me, it is great to have a support system like this

Cutting week 3

OK week 3 did not go well at all , I was on holiday for a week just to get away from it all , and spend some time in the gym , but the next thing you know there is not enough time for anything , got about 3 weight days in , and 2 cardio days .

Not getting down the weight as much as I thought I would with the cutting , but hope to see some loss , soon !!

Week 2 Cutting

Hey

I must say week 2 is not going as I had planned loads of things getting in the way of diet and training. I do not think this week was a bad one , just think I could have done better

I am planning to do loads more next week and will take n new photo , just to see if there is something to talk about !

I am just feeling burned out , but don’t think it is the cutting that is making me feel like this , think it is more work , and need to take a break !

Week cutting

August 7, 2008

Ok the first week of cutting is almost done, must say I this week I was feeling a lot of discomfort
But you have to get out of your comfort zone to make a deferens; I am also still playing with my diet
This is what I am doing at this stage, Pre workout No-Explode, post workout whey protein. Mid day protein shake, lunch chicken breast and broccoli, mid afternoon Protein shake dinner chicken/fish with greens.
I drink a lot of water , and can not use a fat burner because it dehydrates me so bad , and cant seem to get past that no mater how much water I drink !
My workout for cutting go’s like this (I am still new to this so let me know if there is room for improvement)
Monday: I do 10min of hard warming up with treadmill. I then do 3 chest exercise 3 shoulder 3 quad exercises. Doing 25 reps and not resting in between, and then warming down with 10min of light cardio
Tuesday: I do 10min of hard warming up with treadmill. Then 3 bicep 3 triceps 3 hamstring exercise , Doing 25 reps and not resting in between , and then warming down with 10min of light cardio
Wednesday: I do 10min of hard warming up with treadmill. Then 3 back 3 abs 3 calve exercise, Doing 25 reps and not resting in between, and then warming down with 10min of light cardio
Thursday & Friday: I try to do a bit more cardio and feel witch muscle needs a bit more attention
This is what I am doing so far, tips on improvement are Welkom; hope to see some change in the next month!
