The Steelers and the Cardinals put on a great show and the nation noticed. Nielsen Media Research reports that 98.7 million people were watching this years Super Bowl on average.
Last Super Bowl held the record of 97.5 million viewers, but with such an impressive showing by both teams the Steelers and Cards stole the show.
For those few who didn’t see the game it was a great game and the Steelers pulled off a 27 - 23 victory.

I’m not sure what’s happened but Pittsburgh seems to have disappeared in the 4th quarter.
Arizona got the 2 points on a hold in the end zone. Now has the ball with 2:48 left in the game.
#11 Fitgerald gets ball and runs for touchdown! Arizona scores!
Pittsburgh 20
Arizona 23
2:37 left in game. This is one of the best Chamionship games I’ve seen in quite awhile. For once the game is actually better than the commercials. About damn time. LOL!

#11 Fitzgerald making some good grabs. Over halfway through half and the Cardinals are well in the red zone and looking good. Are they still in the game. Only if they can score on this drive. Good luck to them.
#11 Fitzgerald scores with 7:33 remaining in game.
Pittsburg 20
Arizona 14

Okay… I took a gamble. Arizona is not playing bad but they are not playing better than the Steelers. I went for the underdog and so far don’t believe they will pull it off. The game is not over yet but at this point I think the outcome is obvious. 4th quarter now underway. I remain guardedly optimistic.
Score: 20-7, Pittsburg.

Commercials:
Movies and Cars seem to be taking charge in the first half as far as commercials go. … Still not impressed.
Football game has been great so far with both teams playing very well. Second quarter about over and still 10-7 with Pittsburg in the lead. How will they do in the second half? Not sure, but so far I am glad I’ve sided with Arizona. Muwahahaha!!!
Ah, finally a bud commercial… not bad… but, not great either.

Curt Warner makes a great pass to #81 Antione Bolden… another quick pass to #89 Ben Patrick for the touchdown. Still second quarter with Arizona showing that they do belong.

The game is underway and looks like it might be a pretty good one. I will try to make a few posts here during the game. I don’t care for either team as I have always been a Seattle fan but will go for Arizona as the games are not much fun to watch if I haven’t picked a team to root for.
Steelers off to a good start and almost got away with a touchdown on their first posession. Arizona doesn’t look to bad. Have yet to see any good commercials. LOL! Isn’t that why we watch… for the commercials? I’m waiting to see a good Budweiser one.
More in a bit.

What a crazy year in the NFL! At the beginning of the season or even the playoffs there were not very many people that would have guessed it would be the Steelers and the Cards at the Bowl. Not to say the Steelers haven’t looked great this year coming out on top of the AFC North with a 12-4 record but the Cards definitely surprised some people making it to the Super Bowl. Well the count down is on and only 10 days till the Big Game.
Even if your not a looking forward to watching the Steelers and Cards don’t miss the Lingerie Bowl for halftime.
Lets see if the Cards can pull it off, not many people thought the Giants could do it last year.

Many people might be excited for the Super Bowl but the Real reason for everyone to watch is the Lingerie Bowl. It is going to be the 6th Lingerie Bowl and who isn’t going to want to watch that.
There are 11 days and just over 12 hours till the action begins. So those of you who can cheat on your healthy diet for a day get ready to grab a beer, some nachos, get your friends together where ever there is a Big Screen and get ready to wtch the Ladies Rumble at Halftime.
For more information check out the official Lingerie Bowl Website.

Last week the Eagles did what they had to to beat the Vik’s but they didn’t look up to par so to say. I am going to have to take the Giants over the Eagles on that one. The Giants pulled off the Upset last year and won the Super Bowl with a 10-6 record and played even stronger this year pulling out 12-4 to end the season.
I am also going to have to take the Panthers over the Cards, Warner is looking great and looks better on paper then Delhomme but in the end just look at these two team history. The Cards just can’t take the Panthers.
I’m putting the Giants vs the Panthers on the 18th and then I am saying the Panthers pull out ahead of the Giants in the 4th. I wouldn’t put money on this game though it’s a hard one to call!
But who really cares because as soon as the Bears get a good QB they are taking home the ring anyways!
