Bodybuilding newbie.

Okay, this is all new to me, so any advice would be welcome. I´m 6´1, and am 198lb. Don´t know about my bodyfat etc just yet. I´d like to gain around 15-20lb of good muscle for an all over muscled look, nothing too extreme, HELP ME PLEASE….

Hey man. There really is no easy way to do it or nothing. Dont give in to all these things you read best advice…It dont work unless you are on steroids lol. Most likely its going to take a while. Do a bit of research on the foods you can eat that will cause you to put on a bit of extra weight that are healthy for you. Pack on around 4000 calories a day, 7 meals if you can find the time is a BIG part of gaining the muscle. After that you jsut need to be consistent and train hard. Get all your protein, at your weight being around 200-250 grams would be ideal. Then once you notice the muscle building on and you want to define yourself. Do what they call a "cutting" stage where you turn down your calories a notch and do a little more cardio. This will cause you to burn off that little bit of extra weight you gained during your "bulking" ( higher calorie intake) till you are where you want to be. This will give you a good run for a while. After you are finished you may want to get a bit more muscular or whatever. Try another bulk and cut again. Dont worry though when you do cut you will lose a bit of your size and strngth but this is completely normal. I hope I helped you out a bit and if you want evidence you can take a look at my progress pics. I have been training for almost 4 months now. Still hard at it. I dont no if you knew all of this or not but if you never try it out. You will be sure to get results. Taker easy and train hard!! Peace
