Layzee Boy

June 4, 2007

Ok, I haven´t been to the gym for over a week now, and I have to admit to feeling quite guilty about it, there´s no real reason why although i´ve been getting some quite bad head-aches for some unknown reason, maybe the weather? Anyway, enough is enough and I promised myself that this time wouldn´t be another three or four week fad, followed by six months of eating crap and doing little exercise, so tomorrow is the day when I break the cycle, i´ve been doing the month on, six months off routine for too long now and it has to change, or I won´t!

Til next time, which WON´T be so long again, love to all. Fogg.

P.S. anyone got any ideas on how to stop these damn head-aches? they seem to co-incide with humid weather/thunder storms etc.

Stagnant

May 17, 2007

Okay, i´ve been training for just over a month now an have put on just over four pounds and  I think i´ve lost some fat too, so i´m hoping that all the weight i´ve put on is good weight. I am however a little concerned that all the weight went on in the first three weeks and not much after that, is it  normal to gain weight and size in spurts? I realize that if i´m burning fat at the same time as gaining muscle that my weight gains won´t be a true reflection of my progress, but it does give me a bit of a kick in the teeth when i´ve been working my ass off in the gym for two weeks, then weigh myself and find no change, not a single damned ounce! Does this sounds familiar? or normal? Any comments would be much appreciated, Fogg.

AAAAGGGHHHH!!!!

April 24, 2007

I´ve only been training with weights for about two weeks now, and already i´ve lost count of the people who have said to me, "you´re fine as you are", or ,"why bother?". Why bother? I´ll tell you why. Without doing anything about it, this is the best I will ever look and without hard work and sacrifice it can only get worse. To me, I am not fine as I am, that is why I have chosen to do something about it, I want to improve my physical appearance, not just settle for what i´ve got, is there something wrong with that?

If you´re happy with the way you are, then that´s ok, but remember, without a certain amount of effort, it won´t be long before you´re not, and please don´t tell me i´m "fine" just to disguise the fact that you´re too lazy to drag your ass to the gym once in a while.

Back vs Arms

April 11, 2007

I´m having problems taking my lats to failure, mostly because my arms give up first, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can solve this problem, other than the obvious "make your arms stronger" I really want to develop a nice V shape, any ideas?

Okay, this is all new to me, so any advice would be welcome. I´m 6´1, and am 198lb. Don´t know about my bodyfat etc just yet. I´d like to gain around 15-20lb of good muscle for an all over muscled look, nothing too extreme, HELP ME PLEASE….
