Well I took my wife to a hotel for mothers day. She had no idea and was completely surprised. (she even cried happy tears) I told her we were going to Chico, to look for a bathing suit for her, but tricked her completely by going to the hotel. We actually did find a bathing suit for her though! Went to dinner that night and like usual we spent to much money…LOL (its never to much when I spend it on her) Any way at night time we were relaxing, after going in the hot tub and my wife was reading this one fitness book, which had this scale, on how many push ups men or women should be able to do in one minute, depending on their age. Of course the older you are the fewer they expect you to do. (I will be 54 in June) Anyway, the highest amount was for a teenager 18 to 20 years I think and it was like 50 push ups in 60 seconds. So for the heck of it I told my wife to time me and see how many I could do. She used the micro wave ovens timer in the kitchen at the motel and when she said go, I started and so did the micro wave ovens count down. When I hit 60 push ups, I stopped, but I could have probably got to 70. When I stopped, the clock was on 48 seconds gone by. Thats 12 second shy of a minute. I felt pretty good about myself that I was able to do as many as I did and my wife was impressed too! I think I will add push ups into my work outs from now on. It made me feel pretty good that I was able to do what a teenager should be able to do..

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am taking some supplements, which can be found on my profile. I have been taking them for about 3 months now. Last Monday I had a check up at my doctors and found that my blood pressure has gone up to 118 over 92. Six months ago it was 109 over 70. I have stopped taking the supplements and drinking coffee. I eat pretty good, plenty of fruit, veggies, chicken, beef, soy products lots of water, etc. If it does start dropping back down to the way it was, then I will slowly start the supplements back up and continue checking my blood pressure to see if I can pin point the cause. I check my blood pressure now every morning as soon as I awaken, still laying in my bed. Has anyone had similar problem to what I am experience? Thanks!!
