I like this diet plan a lot.
One of the reasons is that includes cereal and I like the way it is listed as a late nite snack. I have not had cereal of any kind going on 2 years and I miss it. I used to love corn flakes, rasin bran and special K. The multigrain bread for me would be a treat also because I only eat a bread product once a week or so. I avoid sugar as much as possible (it is hidden in a lot of foods) but can still find elements here in the diet that will work for me. Thank you for sharing it!

I recommend that you check your labels for hidden sugar in the processed foods like the cereal, bars, yogurt, even some of those vegetarian substitutes can have more sugar in them than you realize.
The FDA recommends that we limit our sugar intake to 40 grams per day.
I looked it up...8 oz of low sodium V8 has only 50 calories...great...but it has 8 grams of sugar. So you are getting 20% of you sugar allowance in one cup of juice.
Since 40 grams is recommended for the ordinary person, someone as extra-ordinary as you should probably shoot for much less than that...
One of my favorite trainers, Jackie Warner, says do not eat any processed food with more than 3 grams of sugar per serving. That really limits the processed foods one can have.
Check it out and let me know what you think.

I as well battle with an up and down BP. Mine is usually the lowest first thing in the morning. ie; 135/75, but in the evening it is the highest, circa; 145/85. When you start the supps back, do them one at a time. It might be one that is causing the increase, or a combination of some. Go slowly and hopefully you will find it's an induced BP increase. I had a real problem just recently and found CLA doesn't do well in my system. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

I started exercising so I wouldn't have high blood pressure. So far it's working and mine has come down. I'm not taking any supplements at all. I just don't see the point in spending money when exercise does the trick. (in due time) Good luck and have many great workouts. Your looking good. Wish I could have drop the weight you have but I don't eat just right. Catch you later, Bruce

Unfortunately, there is always a risk of side effects with any supplementation. If you are putting any chemical into your body, there will be a reaction, and not everyone reacts the same way. You can also use the same supplement that you have previously used, and get a whole different reaction. You are doing the right thing by assessing yourself and adding these supplements back in slowly. Your heart is one thing you shouldn't mess with (obviously, lol!) Hope all goes well with you! Good luck!!! :0)
