3-15-08 The day I lost my mom…

One year ago today my mom past away after suffering a stroke. I still remember the time 6:54 when we got the news from the doctor. My mom ment a lot to me and still does and forever will…I will always regret that I was unwilling to put aside our ongoing stupid beef to attempt to make amends with her. I always tell people now….you never know if you gonna get a chance to apologize….

Mom, I love you and I know you are still watching out for me! I’m always watching out for you…

Bod Pod test….

Today in my ACE study course we had a guy bring in the Pod Bod for testing people body composition…I know I wasn’t going to be happing with the results, but I decided to get a better more acurate picture on where I was with my weight. I weighed in at 251.4 (which I was happy with) but tipped the bodyfat % at 32.9….WOW….what an eye opener.

I still have an incredibly long way to go to get where I need to be…..

Since March 1st I have changed my approach to my diet. I am consuming way less protein…eating much smaller meals….and have completely cut out energy drinks… this has helped me lose 9 lbs in 12 days….I know I must continue following this path for every if I want to maintain a healthy lifestyle…

No energy drinks for 30 days…

Ok…I’m going cold turkey on the energy drinks…I am the reason that red bull just came out with the 32 oz can of liquid crack…problem is that I am drinking so many of them that I dont think they work anymore and I think that they are hurting me in the weight loss department…so, for the month of march…no red bulls…amps…ect I let you know how my experiment goes…

As far as the gym goes…been staying pretty consistent…I tried something new with my heavy flat bench workout. I say a video posted on here a while back of a guy benching inside the squat rack because he had no spotter….I gave it a shot.

225/12 275/6 315/2 275/5 225/10 (on the final two sets I was unable to bang out the 6th and 11th rep and was able to set the bar down and squeeze out from under it) I think this will help me push the weights a little bit more in the bench press dept…

*NOTE to stupid people* Today we had a winter storm swing through md dropping several inches of snow. Just because the sign says 55 does that mean you can drive that fast in the snow…SLOW THE F DOWN PEOPLE….thats your safety message of the day!
