Didn’t make it…

Last time I wrote I said I wanted to eat clean for 30 days…..well I made it 7 days…I dont want to make excuses, but I am currently working about 20 to 25 hours of ot per paycheck on top of all of my part time jobs….

Basically my job and my schedule gets in the way of me eating clean…there are days…like today for example…I get off midnight shift at 0730 will sleep hopefully to 1 or 2…try to get to the gym from 2 to 4….then I have to be back at work at 430 and wont get off until 1100 am the following day….So I will be working 18.5 on about 6 hours of sleep….

I got to prepare better….cook more days worth of meals….pack better….plan better…I know I am capable of doing better…for example I have not had a drop of alcohol since June 7th…so I know if I put my mind to something….I can do it!!!

Suck it up Five O! Time to get on the grind and stick with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eating clean for 30 days….

Okay….I made some tough choices this week and its time to stick to something. I first decided not to take the upcoming sergeants test with the police dept. I have no desire to be a supervisor and I know I would not put my full time and attention into studing for a test I didnt want to take….so….I’ll be working the road till I retire!

They are building two new gyms in my area…a LA Fitness and a Merritt Athletic Club. I have always wanted to be a personal trainer (dream job would be a pro football teams strength and conditioning coach)…So, I plan on signing up for the upcoming ACE study course at my local community college….I would like to apply for a job with one of these gyms when they open next year….

But, in order to be a good trainer I have to be a shining example of heath and fitness. My eating habits does not reflect the standards that a trainer should have and demonstrate to clients…..so, I want to prove to myself that I can eat clean for 30 days to start. Because of my schedule my diet will be very plain because of time restraints and the amount of overtime I am currently working..(another story all together) So…I will get my list of meals up here and hopefully some people can pick them apart and let me know what I can do better ect….everyone keep in mind…I’m a guy who can’t cook to save his life…so don’t laugh when you see my meal plan…

In other news I got my wife to join Bodyspace (Prancer6676), but she hasnt done anything since she joined. I wish she would get into this lifestyle with me….ladies any advice on how to convince her to get it into gear? Again…I’m a dude so make it easy for me…
