2 Rounds of cardio….

in the same day….am I feeling sick? am I losing my mind? Nope…told you yesterday the game has changed and its time to take this transformation to the next level. I hope with the increased cardio that I will begin to see some movement in the scale…I have always said that I will not live and die by the scale…I care more about how I look…my bodyfat..ect…I recently moved my pistol belt in another notch…thats 4 notches since I begin this transformation way back in november….Bad guys…and Bad girls better watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still waiting for someone to tell me what that song is playing in the clip of Frank McGrath at the very beginning….please someone let me know! ASAP!

I was feeling motivated after talking to one of my friends here from bodyspace on how bodybuilding was an art with all the hard work and dedication goes into getting into better shape and becoming the person we want to become….well lets just say I threw some weight around today….I have not benched 300 pounds EVER…..bench has never been my strong point and really never have been any good at it….I’m not sure whats going on but I am stronger now than I have ever been…..man, it felt awesome!

Here was my flat benchpress workout:

135 (20) wu 185 (15) wu 205 (10) 225 (8) 250 (6) 275 (4) 300 (2)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After doing chest/biceps I did 40 minutes of cardio….THE GAME HAS CHANGED!!!!!

Even though the person was filing a complaint on me it was so nice when they described the officer they wanted to complain on as…..the bald headed buff cop…it was so much better than some of the names I had been called in the past….names which I will not post on this blog….I have seen a huge difference in the fit and how I look in my uniform..this is one of my biggest motivators…seeing a difference in my clothes and how I look in them..

Had workout number 2 with my trainer on tuesday….yes….I did get sick…about 45 minutes into the workout my stomach was going crazy…the final 4 sets of walking lunges put me over the top…as soon as I got home I was done and had to let it go…..workout 3 is set for today…I know I’m gonna get sick….but f it! No pain…No gain! Tuesday we did abs/back/legs….today we are supposed to do shoulders/calves/cardio? Not sure what that means but I’m looking forward to it…

is planned for today…I will be meeting with my trainer for workout 2 of 3 scheduled…she told me yesterday that we will be doing back and hamstrings and abs….I’m glad that finally my legs dont feel like they are ready to fall off….I am so nervous about hurling I had a protein drink at 200pm when I woke up and am not going to eat anything else. I am also not going to take my preworkout supplements I normally take…I let you know how it goes…

*contest note* I’m gonna update my stats after this week to see if I made any gains or losses…I just found out that they extended the contest another month and now it doesnt end until mid july….not sure how they can change the rules after a contest already starts…but I’m not in it just for the money…this entire process has showed me a lot about myself and the potential I am capable of if and when I put my mind to it….the money would be great though…lol

Todays theme is GO BIG or GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

They say PAIN….

…is a weakness leaving the body….well if thats true my legs are going to be super STRONG after my workout yesterday…Here it is almost 12 hours later and my quads are still pumped..For the people who follow my blog know that yesterday was my first workout with a personal trainer. I was so excited for this workout…

After warming up for 15 minutes we started with leg extentions and I learned very quickly that my trainer likes to do negatives….all I have to say is ouch…she only allowed me 30 seconds of rest between sets and by 30 minutes into the hour long session I was asking for a bucket…I spent the remaining 30 minutes not trying to blow chunks in front of the crowded gym while continuing to push through the workout…

I finished with another 20 minutes of cardio…..it was worth every penny….I can’t wait for the next one on tuesday….hopefully I will be able to walk….lol

Hump day rant….

Yesterday was hump day….weds…..mid week…for most people it is the middle of their work week….for me it was day two of working the midnight shift and then having to go to morning and afternoon district court for traffic cases….now…I know what most people are thinking….but just because I am a cop doesnt mean I write a lot of tickets….I write a lot of warnings and if you are one of the lucky citizens that gets a ticket from me…treasure it cause I don’t do it often….you must have really done something wrong…lol

Anyway the brilliant people at court schedule me for ONE case in the morning….and ONE in the afternoon….real smart people…I’ll take the overtime…but I would prefer to sleep. After court I was able to grab a couple of hours of sleep before getting up…but my workout sucked….I didnt want to be there….I forced myself to fight through it…but dont feel happy with how I worked out….

Life just gets in the way sometimes….you just have to move around it to reach your goals….enough said…

Time to take the game to another level….who’s coming with me? My court schedule this week has been rough…but, I will be meeting with my personal trainer this week for finally for the first time…

My mission is to continue to do more cardio….and cut out the beer….sorry to my friend beer…but we got to part ways for a couple of weeks…lol

Down….only a couple more to go until the end of the Muscletech Transformation contest. I am proud of the progress I have made to this point, but I know that with a little more attention to my diet and will power to stay away from the beer my gains…and losses will be even greater…

This experiment with Bodyspace has been a great experience for me…I look forward to continuing to share my progress with my new friends I have found here and will continue to offer my encouragement to anyone that will take it…

Enough of the sappy crap….thank god it stopped raining….I dont think I could have taken another drop…..A GOOD COP NEVER GETS WET!!!!!!!!!!! Is my motto!

Five O is BACK!!!!!!!!!

Not that I’ve been anywhere…but it has been a couple of days since I have taking the time to write a blog…so here we go!

Today was a great day at the gym I did chest/biceps and my strength continues to make huge improvements. I wanted to start with incline bench but it was occupied so I did flat bench to start. I did 205 (12) 225 (10) 245 (8) 255 (6) 275 (4). I was pumped! I completed my workout and then decided I would come back for the 8 pm aerobics class.

Guess what….I did come back and man that class kicks my a$$. I really needed a good session of cardio…

Tomorrow is my first workout with my new trainer…we are going to be training legs and I know I am in for a serious butt kicking. I asked for it! I’m also paying for it! I must say that I am also looking forward to it!

I cannot believe that it is May 1st already…wow…time goes so fast. I havent been keeping up to date with my blog entries and I apologize for that and will attempt to keep the few who read this entertained….

Yesterday I had a great workout at the gym. I did biceps/chest and was really pushed hard by a couple other guys in the gym who spotted me and forced me to force out a couple more reps…

My cardio has really improved…I did another round of 30 minutes of cardio on the eliptical (sp) and I try to keep my pace above 150…I felt bad for the girls next to me who had to see me all sweaty…but thats what I am there for…

Spoke to my trainer and set a date for next tuesday to do legs….she said she’s bringing a bucket for me….I asked for a butt kicking….sounds like I’m gonna get a big one!

Well its 3 am and I’m working overtime as always…goodnite and stay safe people!
