Animal Stak

I’m not a huge user of supplements - regular whey protien, creatine now and again, BCAAs and ZMA - thats about it.  The thing i have come to realise lately is that at my age, my testosterone levels are gonna be pretty low and are not high enough to fuel my aspirations.  So, with that in my head, i searched the net to find myself a good, well recommended test booster.  After a lot of research i picked Universal Animal Stak.  For anyone who hasn’t come across this product it is a combination of tablets, some of them pretty bi, taken in a 21 day cycle.

I started nearly two weeks ago, following the directions to the letter (as i always do) and stuck to my normal training routine and diet.  I always put down any initial gains or change down to placebo effect - but, that said - things is looking promising.  Overall my muscles look fuller and more defined.  My attitude in the gym is very positive and i feel..well, great.

I will wait until the end of my cycle, but i’m happy so far.  I would be interested to know if anyone else had tried this product and what your experiences were whilst taking it.

Leg Training

I am not about to start giving advice to members of Bodyspace on particular training routines - there are way to many people better qualified on here to do that.  However, like many people, i find myself with a head full of things i need to express - good, bad and just plain nuts!!

For a long time i didn’t train my legs - this is more of a guy thing than a lady thing me thinks.  Not that i spend a lot of time looking at the legs of ladies displayed on Bodyspace you understand..(cries of ‘Liar, Liar erupt from the crowd)…ok, ok, i do - but that is not the point i’m, making here.  Lots of men just don’t like training legs, its a fact.  In the gym i go to i did a quick poll of the guys i know there and nearly 75% of them don’t train legs on a regular basis.  Training legs is hard, it makes you walk funny for days (you know that thing - walking upstairs is fine - but you try walking back down again…whoahhhh…)  Hurts like a bitch…don’t it!  The guys want the chest and the guns…(not the guys on Bodyspace though…but we are talking about the dedicated here), but in general, your average gym goer mainly trains upper body.  So what is behind this - it can’t just be the pain and effort you need to go through, training chest and back is just as hard.  Here’s my thoughts.  Its those damn surfers - they are to blame.
The popularity of ‘Board shorts’ has created an ideal cover up (no, i’m not a conspiracy theorist..) for us guys.  ‘Don’t feel like training legs - no problem, buy a pair of board shirts!’  Before board shorts men wore real shorts, football shorts (thats soccer to the non-europeans).  Football shorts - made of material so coarse the inner thighs didn’t stand a chance - and short!  Even as a not very well endowed teen (actually, not much has changed there..) a good tight pair of under-crackers were a must to stop the old fella and the family jewels from falling out.  My childhood football heroes wore shorts so tight, well, lets just say if you ever wondered which sick man invented posing pouches, it was the guy who designed football shorts in the 80s.  The pitch was full of quads you could break concrete on…legs that could carry you to the top of Everest and back - and they were proud to show ‘em off.

The weird thing is - for those people who do train legs - there is no feeling like it, nothing comes close.  You finish your session, just about managing to bend down and pick up your gym bag, legs wobbling all over the place like a new born calf, hardly able to stand - then the biggest guy in the gym walks in and says ‘Good leg session?’ - and you smile with a great big shit-eating grin on your face.  For days you feel it burning, building and bulking.  You get to go on your jollies (again, thats a vacation to non-euros) and get to wear proper shorts, man shorts, quad revealing shorts - not those girlie, board hopping half pants.   So join me, support the Real Shorts Revolution (even though it doesn’t exist) and lets get men back into real shorts!
