I Pushed 700lbs on the leg press!!!! I weight 120lbs…WOOO! ;)
Saturday, May 31st, 2008I’m so excited!!! My goal was to hit 600lbs…I just wanted to get more than the last time but I had these guys in the leg press directly next to me and I counted how many plates they had on theirs…630lbs not including the weight of the machine…so I DID and completed almost 9 reps. I looked at them and they’ve stopped and one of them said, "this is what you call embarrassing! She showing us up!" sooooo…..I added another 70lbs and completed four full reps. I rested for a couple minutes and pushed out one last set @ 700lbs to failure…2.5 reps and the machine literally came down on me …don’t worry, I’m so little and flexible that I just crunched up real tight and let the two guys lift it off me. I asked them to take off all but 450lbs and I just finished reppin’ it to failure…I promise counld NOT feel my quads…totally numb at this point. annihilated them…so awesome. Then….I realized I stil haven’t trained hammies or calves. I made it through though. I did deadlifts with 60, 80 and 90lbs barbell 12 reps each….calf raises–standing and seated–explosive high reps for the standing and slow controlled reps for the seated–still high reps. When the workout was over I went to leave and then realized why there’s an elevator in the gym! lol…I seriously thought about using it! hahaha…I didn’t though…I hobbled all the way down
I tell you, there is nothing more energizing and motivating than showin’ up the boys!!! Right ladies? I’m just messing guys…I luv ya:) Well that’s my story! I’m so happy! hehehee…I’m aiming for 750+ next week…maybe 800lbs! That just LOOKS ridiculous…800lbs! I can do it…I just know I can!!!
