NNNOOO . . . Not NOW!

So, yesterday AM I did a step class (awesome class when it comes to cardio, it was great)! And I didn’t eat enough (just a few cheerios, I know, really bad), so I felt like I was gonna puke the entire class. The class started at 9am and that was all I had eaten all AM. My body wasn’t happy with me. Then tried to eat after . . . that didn’t settle at all and couldn’t really eat all day:-( My throat was a bit sore earlier, but by the time I went to bed I had to take something . . . then I looked at my tonsills . . . huge and red . . . I kept waking through the night for 2 reason . . . my son was quite restless ALL night . . . and my throat hurt SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOo bad. 

Around 4am this morning I had to get up again to get some meds (which I’m not supposed to be taking any form of Ibprofen or Tylenol, but I had to take something) and I decided to look at my throat again. . . . mind you, I felt like I hadn’t slept in a week and was very weak physically. Now my throat had white spots (pus pockets) on them, my left jaw was swollen and I just hurt all over. So, I had already scheduled an appointment with my "gyno" because lately with my training (I think that’s why) my body is on it’s own agenda and it’s affecting everything (my periods, my migraines, I’m breaking out like I did when I was in middle school) . . . but now I must somehow also schedule an appoinment with my regular doctor because something else is going on.

I’m super dissappointed, as I had re-written my workouts for this week, was ready to hit the 2 a day cardio sessions (as I have LOTS of progress to make) and focus on diet super hard and lift super heavy . . . now what! I have to rest ALL DAY today . . . drink lots of fluids (which hurts like hades to do), and rest tomorrow and pray for clarification. I think I’m just going to do veggies and protein till I can workout (I think . . . I don’t really know how to handle being sick during contest prep, so any advice is helpful). I pray I get better soon . . . there are a lot of obstacles in my way (pertaining to doing the show in November), but I will overcome them, and represent in a big way!

Now I have to go to bed, because I’ve been up too long and I’m hot and tired and sleepy:-) Thanks for all your support and advice Bodyspace! Smooches!

    You gotta rest. If anything do some moderate cardio. Get your fluids and vit C. Ease up on your workload if possible. If you can get over this in a week, you can still do this.
