Not such a great week so far

So this weekend, my diet went to hell in a hand basket. I guess being around my friends that don’t care about their diets so much has an influence on me. I also missed my workouts on Fri. and Sat.. :(

I’ve been fighting a cold this week, and have had hardly enough engery to even stay awake. I haven’t worked out because I am not sure if I have what it takes to power through a workout, let alone get anyone else sick…Also, I’ve been working much more than normal. It feels like just when I have a handle on things related to diet/fitness, everything else just goes to shit. Why is this? I’ve noticed that I’ve been fighting for balance for a long time…<sigh> Back to work…

Keep plugging Steph, you can do it. I’ve been working lots of O/T lately too, and dealing with stress. The workouts definitely help me keep "balanced" & sane. One big help for me is doing my workouts in the morning before work. That way I’m not trying to get to the gym while tired after a long day at work, not missiing family time, or conflicts with working late or other time commitments. Just a thought…..

I can relate on the food thing. Diet’s my main challenge, and I think most of us here on BS face family, friends & coworkers who don’t share passion to eat healthy most of the time.

    Good luck!

hey we all go thru those falling off the wagon times…but that doesn’t matter, what matters is that you get back on it and keep going!
