I am not going to lie. After I found out that I needed to quit working out my upper body due to that injury, I was really unmotivated and I started to eat more and make unclean food choices.
Over the past week and in doing the new workout training regiment that I came up with, I am feeling re-motivated and am feeling pretty good. I lost the weight that I had gained in that couple of unmotivated weeks. It is absolutely amazing how quick you can pack on the pounds and how you have to work hard to get rid of those extra pounds.
I realized that you can still live healthy even if you aren't doing the exact workout program that you wish you could do. There are other ways to live a fit lifestyle besides just "lifting heavy." I am hoping to finish this 12 week challenge strong in the final 4 weeks and continue to improve myself after the challenge is over.
I took my measurements and photos today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought after the diet mishap over the past couple of weeks, I would be worse off than I was. My waist still shrunk an inch and I look a bit better in the photos.
Now if only my thighs and hips would diminish, all will be well.
