Spoke a little too soon! :(

Well… the day started off nice and early!  Everything on track, actually READY before the kids got up.  Should have taken that as  sign of things to come!  Little one woke this morning with a fever…..never fails!  Poor little guy!

Had to cancel clients (AGAIN) and was not able to get the much needed cardio in.  "Switching" off with the hubby later this afternoon and will at least be able to get some training in.  What a mess!

Hope everyone else has had a better day in the gym this friday morning!

Back in the game! ;)

Finally!  Back into the swing of things!  This morning I was able to get in some cardio and trained with Patrick ….. (arms)!  Things went well and it felt sooooo great to finally be active again!

Switching up my nutrition and training styles a bit.  Patrick thinks we need to up my calories a little bit.  Scary, but I totally trust him and an extra bite here in there is a welcome change.

Found out today that NPC Figure does not have any "open" vs "novice" class.  So basically I discovered that I may very well end up competing against girls that may have already won (or many for that matter) shows!  WOW….steps up the pressure a bit!

DAMN!

Ok… so STILL SICK!  I tried to trick myself into believing that I was just feeling bad this morning and that if I could just get my tail into the gym I would be able to get through the day…. WRONG… Fever kept me home.  Should have left before my hubby caught on!

So… eating clean today as it is the only aspect I can control at this point and watching tons of posing videos!  Anyone know if there is a posing class in the San Antonio area?

Just over 9 weeks out!

Ok… so hit a wall this week.  Patrick (trainer/hubby) warned me this might happen!  I have been training 5 days a week and doing cardio 6x week and diet has been right on.  But suddenly I noticed it was taking LONGER and LONGER to recover from my training and my sleep was just not happening.  Then of course I end up sick.  :(  

So today is day 3 stuck at home and I have total cabin fever!  Panicked that I am losing precious time and taking steps back instead of forward.  Hoping to be able to resume my normal schedule starting tomorrow morning!

My body comp on Sat did not go well either.  Every two weeks for the past six, we have done a comp and the results have been really motivating.  UNTIL this past Sat.  This was the first time I lost too much too fast (2.5 lbs in a week) and the first time I lost lean tissue vs gained.  So… time for a new plan!  :)

Not sure what he has in mind, but I do see that he has given me more calories each day… not sure how I feel about this, but I trust his judgement and will follow his advice.

Funny how your motivation flies out the window when you can’t train.  Your body feels deflated and flat.  Your temptation for "treats" seems to be at an all time high…. then the reality and panick sets in. 

Maybe a break was what I needed…. I just can’t help but think about my competition and how hard they are training at the moment!
