I am in Phoenix, AZ for the week, taking care of family. Damn, it’s hot here. The heat sucked it out of my workout today. Made the workout 1.5 hrs instead of 1 hr. Got it done, and that’s all that matters. I will be getting in early the rest of the week.

Legs are killing me from yesterdays workout. Today was cardio. I used the treadmill for 90 minutes, incline set at 3, speed at 3.5 mph. The monitor showed I burned around 1000 cals. Need to keep going, I have a bet to win. Must lose 2% BF by Aug. 1 to win. More cardio and weights to come.

I am back at it again. I have been at the gym for the last three days and feeling good. Strength is coming back quickly. It helps that I have a bet with a guy from work to see who can drop 2% BF by 7-29-08. I want to win.

It’s time to get back at it!! I can’t believe I have not written since January.
I have set new goals for the next five months. They are aggressive, but I feel confident I will make it this time. I have personal motivations this time.
I will be more diligent about writting and submitting photos this go round.

Wow!! What a slug. I can’t believe how I balloned up over and after the holidays. 294 lbs. on Jan 8. ALL TIME HIGH!! FAT BOY. Now at 291 as of Jan. 24. Glad to see the pounds coming off slowly. It would be great to loss more faster. My goal is still 245 by July. Only 45 more lbs to go.

Much better attitude today. Felt strong, did back and a little chest. Accomplished a personal best with dumbbell bench press. 95LBS!! WOW WOW!! I have two training sessions with my trainer, they will be next Monday and Thursday. We are doing chest both days. I am going for another personal best of 110lbs dumbbell press. I know I willl get it done.

Did not feel it in the gym this morning. Everything felt heavier than normal. It was a real challenge staying and lifting. I am going to change my routine. I am going to do two-a-days, starting Friday. I am going to lift in the AM and cardio in the PM.

Just got back from four days of binge eating in VIVA Las Vegas. My weight is up, so is my motivation.
My shoulder rehab is complete, I am ready to start on chest again. Chest workout felt real good. Could feel some shoulder strain doing 80lbs dumbbell bench. Not able to do any decline chest because of my left shoulder. Could still feel some pain. I guess I need to go a little lighter next time.

Just as the title reads, I have a lack of motivation. I don’t want to go to the gym or ‘eat right’. I am going to make a change today. I am going to the gym tonight, go with cardio. That will be a good start.

Started working out with a trainer, again, on Aug. 20. I have already started moving up in weight used per exercise. Very frustrating to be down in weight used from a year ago. It is nice to see I still have good muscle memory. It won’t be long and I will pass my past goals. I will need to set new goals soon.
