Couple of random things…
Monday, September 17th, 2007Today, despite having a very poor nutritional day and having little to eat during school, I put up 80lb dumbbells 6 times on flat db bench. I have never done this much before, so it was a good PR for me. I feel like I couldve gone 8-10 if I had eaten properly and had gotten enough rest.
I tested my deadlift max for the first time last week and pulled 3 plates (315lbs). I felt pretty good, but need to deadlift more and get it up.
I’m losing bodyfat due to football, but my strength isn’t going down TOO much…my flat bench is suffering, as well as my power clean. I doubt I would be able to do my previous clean max of 230lbs right now…but hopefully I’ll shoot through that after the seasons over. We lost our first game, but I had a great game on defense. First game starting both ways for varsity, so I was pretty excited/proud of myself.
