Getting started!

Here goes!  I’ve been trying to get started for quite awhile.  Today I actually made it to the gym and it felt great. I woke up early before work and dragged myself out of bed (hard for me).

Today’s workout was pretty simple. I took it relatively easy since it was my first day back. I did about 12 reps of each exercise and it lasted for about 40 minutes. 

 The sad thing is, I am already sore tonight!  I did some cardio by playing basketball tonight in my league (another story about being out of shape and out of practice… ugh).

 It’s the weekend now so I don’t have any scheduled workouts, so I can take a few days off and get over my first-day soreness, then it a little harder next time. I probably have about 2 - 3 weeks of slow going before I can really hit it hard.
