Alright, so I have to get his off my chest, out of my system, etc. At the gym tonight, I was witness to one of many reasons some women are intimidated and turned off by weight lifting. There was a couple working out together and I can safely assume that neither of them saw the inside walls of the gym too often. However, I think it’s rad to see new people trying to make changes. So, the man is doing goodmornings with a 45lbs dumbell and although his wasn’t too scary, hers was. She obviously hadn’t done this exercise before and was hardly able to lift the bar to her shoulders, let alone perform the exercise… correctly that is. As I’m doing my lunges in the corner, I’m cringing at what is happening and I feel bad for her. I know that all the intentions were good, etc. but I was really struggling with givin’ her a lil hint, advice if you will. After they finish the good mornings, the man attempts to show her how to squat… again… with the 45lbs barbell. Her heels came way off the ground and her knees way over her toes…. yikes. At this point, I am practically forcing myself to mind my own business, but finally I can’t help it and I offer a bit of advice. I was very polite and simply suggested that she might feel much more comfortable with a little less weight (baby steps lol). They thanked me and I go off to finish my workout and when I gather the courage to look in their direction, what do I see…. she is still attempting a "squat" with the same barbell. Ugh… Well, I tried right? I just want people to learn the right way and feel good with no injuries so that they too can learn to love and live for what we all do… weight lifting baby!:)

As most of you probably already know (I have it posted everywhere lol) I placed 3rd out of apx. 15 girls in the C class at Emerald Cup this last Friday in Bellevue, WA. I am VERY pleased with this spot and couldn’t have imagined more! So, what is my plan now you ask? It seems as though, after getting much advice and opinions, that I am heading to Vegas July 25th & 26th for USA’s! My expectations for USA’s are simply to come in better than Emerald Cup. This would involve a little more muscle and slightly more conditioned. I will be focusing mainly on my back (width and depth) for muscle and tighter in the rear end dept!

I spoke with 4 of the judges, including the head judge:) and as a whole, the advice I recieved was mainly that my short hair may be a distraction from what they are looking for (i.e. a sleek, long, athletic body). I know, I know! This is so crazy and I have spent alot of time thinking about it and have come to realize that I am ok with it. Also, they thought that I could come in slightly tighter (duh) and with 1-2 lbs more muscle.

So, in conclusion, it looks as if I get to work on one of my favorite things… BUILDING!! Yay! As for the hair, you can expect some changes as well… although, I haven’t fully decided what I am going to do:) If you are one of those people who LIKE my hair short because it’s different and if suits me, don’t worry! I will likely wear extensions or something similar that is only temporary for stage! My plan to come in better conditioned should be attainable since I have already been dieting and will start out leaner than I would normally. As of today, I am eating very clean/low-carb and will be back on a diet plan by the end of the week as well as back to the gym!!

Here I come Vegas!

Ok… I have to do this… Attention boyz and men: Please DO NOT write me private messages telling me how "cute" I am or that you want to get to know me, or simply "what’s up?", etc. I am SO NOT here to date, meet, or hook up… with anybody- get it? I don’t want to hear about your deepest secrets and creepy fantasies… if it’s not obvious when I don’t respond to you, now it is. I’m sorry it this offends anybody, but if there were any question as to what I am here for- this should clear it up. I COMPETE… I LOVE to work out… I LOVE a beautifully sculpted, astheatically pleasing physique- what can I say? It’s like that and that’s it. I don’t NEED attention. Don’t get me wrong, I TOTALLY appreciate any compliments, but please- fellas, there is a line! Yes, what we do is vain to a degree, but I always strive to be humble. I like positive and constructive feed back- please no negativity. I don’t need negative energy in my life.

PS: This would include sexual comments on pics or otherwise.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
